Grown as a cottonian

I really had a passion and the enthusiasm to learn computer science and get into top MNC companies that's why I took Computers in my pu and also in my degree life . As said i would suggest more practical studies than theory based because that helps a student to learn real world projects and situations after getting into a job . And about the exams the some teachers were on point completing the syllabus getting us done with the revision and important questions and some would take online class during study holiday to complete few topics and revisions . But overall the teaching and the exams were phenomenal.

The year wise fee was at the start 90000 and then it got to 84500 and 87000 to the third year . The college does not provide any scholarship but one can apply for government scholarship like NSP ,SSP etc if needed . Also it takes examination fee of around 3250 during your examination and also add on money of 5000 to get the uniform

There is a annual fest conducted in Bishop Cotton women's Christian college known as Disha . Where In many activities and events and DJ is conducted . There are on stage and off stage activities . Off Sta age like ppt , art and craft , best out of waste , cooking without fire etc and on stage like fashion show , MIME , dancing , singing , debate etc it is a very fun and the most famous fest conducted in this college . And there are many other fests conducted by different departments within the college students . The college library provides a wide range of books from all the sectors and easy to acces them mostly around 3000+ books . The technologies provided in a classroom is a projector if needed . The sports day has a lot of events from running to chess to everything . There are many clubs in my college such as rotary club

I did not apply in any college but I had a thought to apply in Goodwill Girls college since it is nearer to my home . But my PU computer teacher suggested me to join Bishop Cotton women's Christian college because she was an alumini of the college and she loved the computer faculties over there and she was soo right on it . Also my elder sister had done her PU there so i opted for this college . The admission process was easy i went and visited the college they asked for my pu documents and 10th documents and asked my marks in computers and maths . As i wasn't a maths student but yet they asked me if I'll be able to do it and i confidence's them that i can do it then I proceeded with the admission process and made the payment

The faculties and the student relation was very smooth and impactful. The teachers were always ready to solve any issue be it academically or personally as a mentor . We were divided into 2 batches and the teachers were our mentors for the entire 3 days to always listen to us and help is find a solution to the problem . The teaching method and the nature of the teachers was on point . I miss them

The cafeteria was good at first but due to something the cafe was changed and then the food wasn't that good but the cafeteria was a peaceful and a escape place for all the students who used to bunk the classes . And the beggers lane in the college is the most beautiful and see through place . The birds cage and the garden in the college is phenomenal. Going to participate in events to other colleges or inviting them to our college was the exciting part
