Campus Convenience & Cultural Vibrancy: A Candid College Review

Course curricullum of 2021 scheme was bit out dated and newer scheme of 2022 is better. The syllabus still consists of how the technology started and fails to teach the current trends which is more important, in the era of AI we are still learning generations of computers and programming languages are taught from 4th semester which is too late.

I had got seat under SNQ quota hence my fees was lesser than the other KCET students, my fees structure was 28,880Rs. + 5,000Rs.(Skill enhancement fee collected by college). For normal quota through KCET fees was 96,060Rs. + 5,000Rs.(Skill enhancement fee collected by college). Students can avail SSP(State scholarship provided by Karnataka state government)

Every alternative years Kalavaibhava and Srushti Udyukta was celebrated as college fests. Library had good books and it was accessible on sunday's too, even they had e-library feature where research papers can be accessed for free. I was part of Google Developer's students club it was a good experience.

There were to major reasons for me to select this college, one it is nearer to my house and I could travel easily and spend more time learning at home and I had got seat under SNQ quota so the fees was not burden on my parents.

Faculty to student ratio was good, for 10 students a mentor was assigned to discuss our problems. There will be 2-3 internal assessments and 1 external examination for each subject. The number of students who clear the semester were high.

Hostels had gym facility only hostellers could use it. Library was accessible upto 8.30 in the night. Campus timings was from 8.45AM to 3.45PM. College was outside the city hence there were no places to hangout, there is one hill nearby called Akkayamma betta.
