Likes
- The boys to girls ratio is not at all equal boys are many members but girls are only few in my college. The infrastructure of this college is very good and teaching style is amazing with the faculties
- There are many places and nice spots in my college like canteen , garden , play ground and library it is a good atmosphere
- The course which I took was really tough job to study and maintain the good cgpa but if we try hard it will be helpful for our future campus placements
Dislikes
- In this present year I was feelings some home seek feelings after few weeks it will be okay here to live for btech 4 years
- There is no swimming pool in this college it really very bad situation for me because I usually swim in my hometown
- The hostel facilities are not that good as I expected in my inter college it should be improved and mess is also very bad I am unable to eat properly
Course Curriculum Overview
I took the course Electronics and communication engineering with the passion I have from my childhood to become a hardware engineer. During the 5 months per semester there will be 2 exams conducted 1 will be mid semester and the other is end semester. We have 3 hours of time for examination. I think the teaching style of few core subject professors should have changed
Fees and Financial Aid
If your family income is more than 5 lakhs then you have to pay 62500 If your family income is between 1 to 5 lakhs then you have to pay 1/3 of 62500 If your income is less then one lakh then there is 100 percent tuition fee wave off If you belongs to sc or st category then there is 100 percent fee wave off
Campus Life
There are many fests are conducted in nit raipur including eclectika, raaga , aavarthan, samar, dj night and etc .. For especially sports samar will be held for 3 days starting from 8 am to 10 pm It was really amazing In the library we can get any book you want but for the entry purpose you should have an id card for verification purpose In 5 days eclectika will be conducted it is the central Indias biggest culture fest And it was conducted in 3 days day and night
Admission
I have struggled very much to achieve this college in intermediate for 2 years I have applied many top nit colleges during the josaa counselling. There will be total 5 rounds in the josaa counselling from that I have finally placed in nit raipur But later was not applied for csab councelling During the admission process in this college there are many conditions to follow and many certificates should be provided to the head office
Faculty
The faculty members are very good and they explain lectures in classroom very properly. If you have any doubt in the at any time if you meet them they will clear you every thing. In my class I like JP sir he is really a genuine professor I don't like engineering mechanics professor because he will always takes extra classes on holidays . If class timings are 2 to 2 50 he will take up to 5pm
Night Life
In every hostel in nit raipur the gates will be closed after 9 pm on working days and on weekends Saturday and Sunday the gates will be closed at 9 40 pm after that no one will be allowed in to the hostel During night we have enjoyed with friends like watching movies Playing games Till midnight we will play badminton in our hostel
