- The infra of the college is one of the bes among Delhi NCR
- The academic staff is also very educated.All the assistant professor are Masters & Ph.D in respective discipline
- The extra curricular activities were a good factor.They have created a good impact on personality development.
Dislikes
- Their were very few placement opportunities for Core(Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Branch students
- The library is not very advanced as per NIT/IITs.They need to be digitalized.
- Their were very few opportunity to do excel in soorts.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Civil engineering is one of the all time favourite branches of engineering. The curriculum is very up to date from semester exams to seminar. The curriculum prepared me for real life challenges.The seminar of various highly respected civil engineers upadated us about current civil engineering technology and their usefulness. The exams were happened twice a year.The 4 years course were divided into 8 semesters. The examination level were moderate to tough.It takes a lot of effort to memorize and gain good grades into the practical and examination.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees was 1,35000 for 1st year and 1,20000 for other 3 years. Registration fee, development fee , examination fee & other compulsory charges were included in the fees.Tution fees were same for Management and SC/ST students. They have opportunity to get full fees reimbursement if they have applied for scholarship.
Campus Life
Their are two famous fest that happen in GCET is tech fest and other is Year fest.The technical fest show's the technical development and representation of our technical college.The annual involves the singing dancing and other co curricular activities. From prom nights to get together of different celebraties.Theie are various social groups from Rotary club to Ace, From natak club to sport's club.One can join any club as per his/her interest.
Admission
I got confirmed addmission into MT Engineering course into IERT , ALLHABAD and EC Engineering course into FGIET, Raibareli.I wanted to pursue engineering into Civil or Mechanical Engineering and i got civil engineering into this college.So i opted to pursue engineering from this college.I didnot able to crack IIT entrance examination so I did not make into IIT. The current admission procedure from admission into my college is through jee main score. At my time i have cracked. UPSEE with decent rank to get into this college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:30. The faculty members are every co operative,one can approach him for any doubt or help. The Maths Faculty Dushyant Sir is one of my personal favourite because of his consistent encouragement. The worst faculty member was Anudha ma'am because of her language issue.
Night Life
The gym is open from 6 AM to till 9 PM. The gym is ok .The cafeteria open till late night for foodies.The library & public area get closed till 7. The campus main gate closes at 9 PM. There are many malls in greater Noida from Ansal to Gip. The F1 race circuit is also at 8 Km distance. The most famous jagat farm for road side eating and dining is also near.
