Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is relevant for the academics. It is suitable for turning into any field. Even as a Maths student we are skilled in python, c, c++ and java within the 4 th sem. Even the curriculums are suitable for real world applications. Each month will have exams. The sem duration will be 5 months. Approximately 1 week will take for 1 internal exam.

Placement Experience

4

From the second last sem onwards they will become eligible for campus placements. Many companies will visit including amazon, tcs, infosys, microlab, bajaj and so on. They will offer an avg package of 6 lpa. The last years highest package that is the super dream offer was 1.5 crore which was bagged by two smart students. About 80% will get placed. About me, after completion of postgraduation, i will look for some placements or else i will go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is too high as a Integrated M. Sc Mathematics student. The hostel fees are much higher than expected. There are 9 ladies hostel blocks including AC, non AC and apartment type blocks each of having different fees structure. The mess foods are not of top notch quality. Each blocks have different caterers. Not as expected.

Campus Life

4

There are many events going on the campus. The tqo most celebrated fests are Riviera which is the annual feat which will held on February or March. The second one is Gravits which is a tech fest which will be on September. The books and journals are easily accessible for the students and wide varieties are available. The classrooms are digital supported. VITPL is a competition which will be for games. Here all the clubs and chapters are run by students and students are the organisers for those events too.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel rooms are bit small. In room, we have a cupboard, a studytable, and a drawer to keep books and all stuffs. The mess food is sometimes bad beacuse they don't make it well cooked and don't clean properly. The quantity is also less. Before coming to the college itself we have to choose the hostels in the website. And every year we can choose the roommates and room and block.Based on our cgpa they will allocate ranks and we will choose according to that.

Admission

The college is high ranked based on nirf ranking. It is also one of the top universities among QS world rankings (400-500 rank). This motivated me to join in this college. I didn't apply for any other colleges. And i was sure that i will get in this prestigious and deemed university

Faculty

4

Our academics are completely dependent on the faculties. How faculties approach us and how friendly are the main factors which will consider our academic stress. There are 2 Internal exams(CAT) and 1 main exam (FAT) in one sem. The exams are comparatively little tough. The second internal is open book based exam. So the questions will be much more application level based questions. Out of 5 questions 2 will be higher order thinking questions. The course objectives are completely based on our career. The evaluation is based on relative grading. Cgpa is on 10 point scale.

Night Life

2

The girls are not permitted to go outside hostel after 8:30. Free gym and paid gym s are available in the hostel, which differ based on facilities.swimming pools are available. Campus intime is 7pm. The campus is itself huge. There are kilometers and kikometers to walk around the campus. Restaurants, stationery shops are all available within the campus itself. Outside also many north indian food shops are available, chai spots and so on. But it is not that safe to roam in the local places. In general we don't have any night life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography, the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate, which helps in consistent preparation, however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning, and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed
