Coming to this college was the best decision of my life as i improved a lot, gained and acquired many skills from the professors, seniors and friends. I have achieved alot from this college. This will be always in my heart.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for BA Pass course with the subjects Economics, English literature and Sociology. I am satisfied with the curriculum that the college follows because it includes the theory and practical activities, which provides a great exposure to every student and helps them to acknowledge their skills.
Internships Opportunities
It is compulsory for each and every student to do internship in the last semester. Students can do internships in any of the field in which they are interested in. The college provides internship opportunities but i have not used it as i have done internship in the sector in which i want to pursue my career.
Placement Experience
The placements are good for under-graduate and post-graduate students ranging from 1.85 lacs to 3 lacs in UG and 2.5 to 4 or 5 lacs in PG depending upon the company that visits the college. Opportunities are good.
College Events
The college celebrates many events : English drama Fest, Environment day (green day), Students day, Traditional day, Economics seminar and fest and many more, all are based on different and unique themes and everyone waits for these events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of The Bhopal School Of Social Sciences is feasible and one can pay easily. You can see the fee structure in the college website www.bsssbhopal.edu.in, different courses have different fees starting from 15k to 1 lac.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides various scholarships, for girl child, single girl child, for studies and many more. But i haven't availed any of the above scholarships and also not the loan facility so i am unable to explain this further.
Campus Life
There are various kinds of extra curricular activities that my college conducts. There are computer labs in the college and now an experimental lab also for science students. Sports facility provided by the college is good and up to the mark.
Hostel Facilities
I am a localite and i don't live in college hostel therefore, i don't know about the facilities that the college hostel provides. I have only seen the structure from outside so i will not be able to tell you this.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors in my college are very helpful and supportive. They are ready to help you out eith each and every problem. They will there for you and they constantly support you in your studies. Seniors are bery awesome and friendly.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is basically based on the syllabus taught by the university, consisting of Multiple Choice Questions, short-answer questions and long-answer questions. The exam is of 70 marks and rest 30 marks are divided into 3 sections, 1 section for attendance =10 marks and 2 sections=20 marks for CCE i.e. Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation.
Admission
Firstly the college declares the merit list on the basis of 10+2 marks. Then there is a scheduled interview taken by the professors after that interview,Principal of the college takes the interview. Then you will get admission into the college.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very helpful and supportive in every aspect. They clears doubt and solves problem of each and every student. The way of teaching is different and innovative as compared to other colleges.
