Likes

The freedom they give to attend classes. They are no pressure of attendance. So you can attend classes of your own will. There are lots of social works also they do. And it is very good. Teachers are very polite and generous.

Dislikes

There are very delay in administrative work. They give a time but they will not come at that time. They are too late

Course Curriculum Overview

It has well career backgroud and it is not that difficult. If you study then you will get a job. It a good course and very optimized. Exams timing are good and sufficient. It is very easy not so difficult

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee you have to pay semester wise wihich is approax 3000 and exam fees approax 500 and a semester is 6 month in a year. 2*3=6*3000=18000+500*6= 21000 For the entire course it is much reasonable fees.

Campus Life

Our annual fest is very famous as FUN FIESTA and it is held in the end of the winter There are many variety of books in our library This college do various social activities like blood donation camps , tree plantation camp etc

Admission

I did not applied to any other colleges i just applied to my college which is AGCBC. Because i know that there is no pressure of attendance in this college No wont applied Cutoffs are 60% Very easy process just fill up the form wait for the merit list thats it

Faculty

It is good and good in ratio Every faculties are very good There are 6 internal and 6 external exams and it is easy if you study Students who will not studied atleast a week in a semester those will get fail.

Night Life

Our college has library which very good for spending time There is also many hoster near our college There are too many famous hangout cafe, restraurants, parks, theatres where anyone can go and chill after the college

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

I decided to pursue b.com because i have strong interest in accounting and finance .The syallus of this course is good and covers important subject like taxation and cost accouing snd business law.it would be great if the college added more computer based traing .

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
