JIIT Sector 128 campus review

If you wish to pursue btech in computer science and even if you get JIIT sector 128 campus, simoly go for it as curriculum, placements, are common for both sector 62, 128 campus. I was given above tip by my seniors and it helped so passing on to desired audience now.

Its at par with other top private colleges in country be it VIT or SRM or Amity. Best part about our curriculum was that in first year many colleges have subjects from all the engineering streams like chemical, mechanical, engineering drawing which are never useful for a CS engineer in a long run, so in our first years subjects were selective and on point.

No there was no internship but we had a mandatory third year summer internship where we had to look on our own and which was mostly stipend free and to get hands on experience of what we had learnt in previous semesters. Like i did my Java development project with a small company.

Great. Firstly each student gets placed, scondly if you want a business facing tech roles then we have Deloitte and E&Y coming on campus, thirdly if you want core tech role then we have Amazon, SAP, Paytm coming on campus. Plus the highest package is always 20 lpa +

Converge: Annual techno-cultural fest of JIIT sector 128 campus Impressions: Annual fest of sector 62 campus. And students of both the campus participate in each others fest. Ground thumping fests they are i will say.

Extracurriculars: 8/10 ( I was deeply involved in clubs and committees) Labs: 9/10 ( state of the art) Sports: 9/10 ( State of the art with indoor badminton, TT court, and football , cricket ground, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball court)

JIIT boasts of tallest hostel building in north india, And jaypee group being an infrastructure company will never let you down on this front. From classrooms to washrooms to hostels its A1 infrastructure.

Seniors are immensely helpful but no such scenario of alumni connect or leveraging their connections. But there are some facebook pages for connecting senior and juniors. Besides my seniors were very co-operative and i m still in touch with them.

Semester system, in each sem we had three asessments namely T1, T2, T3. We have a Credit system which is simple and basket of optional subjects in last year is wide. Best part is in JIIT you cant fail for ex: if you fail in T1 then you ll have a supplimentary exam and if you pass in that your failure wont be reflected in your marksheet and lets say you again fail in supplimentary exam then we have a summer school option where during summer breaks you can pick your backlog, learn again from faculty and re attempt and if you pass there your faikure again wont be reflected in final marksheet.

I got through an exam named AIEEE. My all india rank in AIEEE was around 50,000 so i got shortlisted for JIIT sector 62 campus , electronics engineering or JIIT sector 128 campus's computer science engineering but i went fot latter.

This is one section where i l rate my college 10/10. Ranging from permanent faculties to lab faculties they are all very good and are passed out from top colleges in India. Many faculties have Phd and others are pursuing Phd from top colleges like JNU.
