Likes
- The most favourite thing is the university location, the university campus is placed in between of mountains having beautiful view.
- The university Hod's of every college are very friendly and helpful. The curriculum is very good and the subject are deeply choosen for best knowledge given to students.
- The faculties are having expertise and experience of teaching and very sound knowledge of there subject.
Dislikes
- Campus Life was very poor, no events feasts were organised in whole three year for students.
- The placement is average as if you did not got selected in starting in good companies, later only new start ups use to come with fake CTC .
- CRC centre, the place where all the placement officers were sitting the faculties of that building were very rude and arrogant to students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was really good as I got to learn many good things which are thaught to Mba students. Some subjects make you ready to face really time job challenges and some make your knowledge foundation strong. The area where they can improve is the numerical solving subjects, they can make things learn little easy then skipping the topics. The timing of exams are good and difficulty level depends on the type of its sessional or final exam.
Placement Experience
The placement is overall average, After 3rd semester students are eligible to apply for placement. The no of companies visited was around 50 including startups and reowened companies like accenture and TCS .
Fees and Financial Aid
The detailed fee structure: For 1st year the fees was 42000 per semester which is 84000 yearly. The overall course is of 6 semester with around 8000 increase in fees every year. The final semester fees was 6 62000 each semester.
Campus Life
The campus Life was not good as I was in 2020-2023 batch, the time when corona comes and goes, as due to COVID-19, no fest or events were organised which gradually led our campus Life become boring. Even university charged us fees for fest but no fest was organised.
Admission
The reason of choosing Uttaranchal university was it's good reviews and ratings given by UGC, and as of my experience evrything was good. The reason I preferred this college over other colleges is its location and frequency of transportation from my hometown. The admission process is simple no exams are there to get the admission.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was good as 40-50 students were there in each class no overcrowding was there . My fav faculties is vivek Srivastava sir our 3 semester teacher. Although all faculties were good kind and helpful. Exams - 3 exams per semester are organised 2 sessional and 1 final.
Night Life
My favourite hangout spot was Nescafe area, The ambience and beautifully surrounded sitting area is very enjoyable. And my fav food is honey chilli potato of food court, a dish suggestion from my side that a every student of UU should try once.
