A comprehensive look on IILM UNIVERSITY, Greater Noida

The course is a very detailed study in the field of management. I chose this course because i want to learn the art of management and for the second year as I'll be taking finance major I'll be learning deep knowledge about finance. The curriculum prepares you very well for the real world as it is a case study major course and there are also mandatory internships to prepare you for the real world. And for further academic pursuits the course prepared you with different types of subjects that gives you a deep knowledge about different majors. There are two majors exams the mid terms and the end term those happens within the time stamp of 6 months also there are assignments with 20% of your grade.

As i am in first year i have no idea about internships but there is going to be a NGO internship in the second semester that will be unpaid for which the students will also have to write a report of all the work they did.

The BBA course has just been started 3 years ago so as of now there has not been any placement but from the year 2025 there are said to be placement offers for the third year students. the other branch of this college provide placements and for greater Noida campus it is expected the same of average of 350000 rs a year. My plan after the degree is to do a job for one year prepare for CAT exam and crack a good MBA college.

The total fees for first year is 200000rs and i had 30% scholarship for academic achievements and i had no other other scholarship as i am a general category student. As of the brochure there is no increase in fees. For the first year i paid 140000rs and will be paying 200000 rs of the scholarship doesn't continue out of the 140000rs 30000 was the admission fees. If you fail you need to pay i think so as per my knowledge 5000 rs per subject for re examination. Fees for the btech course is 185000 rs with the failure fees remaining the same. Other scholarship available are 10% for girls and 100% scholarships for students who have scored over 95% academically.

The annual fest of the college is mosaic a cultural fest it happens in the month of February. There is a wide variety of book and journal in the library from course books to self help book like rich dad poor dad. The classrooms are smart classrooms equipped with a projector and also a black board for quant subjects plus the classrooms also have centralized ACs. There are many options for sports in college as students have option for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, etc. There are also extracurricular activities like quizzes, competitions, etc. There are many clubs ran by the students like E cell, eco fin, corporate club, etc which help students grow in a overhaul manner

The facilities provided in the room are a AC, a bed, a table and chair, a wardrobe. The quality of meal is average some days the food is good somedays it is not but it's better than other hostels. When you apply for college you'll have the option to apply for hostel at the same time. The hostel prices are much more affordable than the other options near college.

Along with IILM i also applied to Doon business school and lpu and also got confirmed admission from those colleges but i chose IILM because it is better than lpu and the location is better than Doon business school. I got rejection from DU as my CUET scores were not very good as i was not able to study for it. The admission process is fairly simple as you first need to fill the admission application with all the details required. IILM accepts academic as well as CUET scores i preferred my academic scores as they were better. The minimum cutoff for admission is 65% in class 12 and 10.

The average of faculty to student ratio would be around 50 students to 1 teacher. The teachers are really kind and friendly and are easy to approach. Sorry i can't give the names of the faculty but our business economics teacher is one of the best teachers she is very friendly and her teaching style is also really good. Then our FPE sir are also very good and his teaching style is more on practical sides and stories. In the first semester there were 6 subjects is total out of which one of them was postponed for second semester. In the second semester there are 7 subject including the subject from the semester 1. In semester 1 there were around 30% students who failed as per my knowledge.

There is a gym in campus it's a average gym and it's free for all students there are cafes in campus and are also building different cafes in campus the timings for gym in 10 pm closing and 8 pm for cafes for closing. The students can leave 6 am and after in the morning for anywhere they want to go and they have to comeback before 8 pm. In campus places to enjoy with friends are box cafe, badminton court, etc. For out campus students can go to alpha, jagat farm, Venice Mall, Trinity corner(for good food).
