Honest review of BIT

The students are given extra classes if they have doubts or if necessary . There is language barrier and when the faculty speak in regional languages it is difficult to understand . There are two sets of internal exams which prepare the students for final and main externals exams . Apart from that we also have quiz or projects or presentations of every subject to ensure students are understanding the topics

Zebra , target , amazon are the top companies that have taken up students from our college. The roles offered are cybersecurity specialist and data scientist and data analyst etc.. the stipend ranges from 15000 to 45000 per month for interns whose jobs maybe be converted to full time.

The 3 year or sixth semester students are eligible for on campus placements. The percentage of students getting placed are around 85 percent. The average package is 5lakhs. There are companies looking for full time jobs as interns as well.

Overall nice college apart from the small campus . The faculty and assistants are nice and the seniors are kind ,helpful and friendly. The average package is 5-6 lacs . The college also has a lot of other co curricular activities like sports , summits etc.

The college has a n annual fest called MANTHAN which usually takes place in the month of December. The technical fests are arranged by the respective departments like idea pitching called anweshna . There are several clubs like UNDER 25 , GDG, SAMSKRUTI DANCE CLUB , DIMINISHED 7.. (the singing club), ROTARACT (social service club).

The menu is fixed. We have one designated day for ice cream ,2 days of fruits and snacks are available daily. We have washing machines for clothes. Most of the rooms have attached bathrooms . There is also one chair , table and cupboard for each student. Orders from Swiggy myntra amazon are allowed and are safely kept.

We can get admission through COMEDK,KCET , MANAGEMENT. The environment and cource curriculum of this college peaked my interest and this I got here. The cut off for cse branch this time was around 8000. And my branch .. ROBOTICS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE the cutoff was 19000

The cource is same for all the first years though it is divided into two cycles... Physics and chemistry. We get basic knowledge of engineering life in the first year and from second year onwards we get into the respective core subjects and branch.

The boys hostel is inside the campus while the girls hostel is few kilometres away. The hostel gate closes at 9.30 at night and opens at 5 am in the morning. There is security guard present at most of the times in girls hostel. There are a lot of food stalls near college . The lanes are filled with students of different colleges after 5 pm.
