Likes
- Campus is good, teachers are mostly well qualified. Many of my faulties are P.HD, Some of them are M.Tech only but knowledgeable.
- So many extra carricular activities done during the year, you can explore your carier in differnt field rather than engineering as well.
- Big events also happens on half early basis, so you have lots of opportunity in field of event management as well.
Dislikes
- Books in the library was too much old edition, and library was very small.
- Area of the campus was small so outdoor games Opportunity are not too much popular, only cricket was available.
- Some labs are not working condition like in our department REFRIGERATION LAB, thermodynamic LAB, are not in working condition and others labs are not upto the mark of engineering requirement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Now a days its age of information technology and i was studing the mechanical engineering. So in field of mechanical engineering there are less opportunity. Many of my colleagues get jobs in IT company.
Fees and Financial Aid
In 2010, fee structure is as follows- 1st year- 107000 2nd year- 97000nj 3rd year- 97000 4th year- 97000 . In last year the ask for arrier of 40000/- .There is no amy special scholarship at that time. For scholarship you have to apply through UP government SCHEME , Some time you get scholarship some time not. It's totally depend on the funding by government.
Campus Life
Infrastructure was good but the area was small as per name and requirement. Library of the campus was small and books are of very old edition. . College have nice cafeteria and students did social activities on the regular basis.
Admission
At that time Golgotia was the famous name, i got addmissiom on the recommendation only. Few of my seniors they are studying in the college and they told the opportunities available in college. You should choose the college wisely before addmission.
Faculty
There is no such faculty that i Don't like. In every semester there are 2 sectional exam, 1 before the semester named as PUT, PRE UNIVERSITY TEST for internal marking. College provide decent marks in internal. Every semester you have to read 6 subjects approx and 3-4 practical subjects.
Night Life
Cafeteria was small but having good vibes, Many of my friends live in college hostel. Everything was good but food of the mess was pathatic. . There are so many option to near the campus of galgotia where you can live with less expense and with better services.
