- Big class room with ventilation and labs with full equipment
- Good and knowledgeable faculty and their interaction with students. Make student to present seminars and presentations
- Our couse have nearly equal gender ratio and also we got good placements
Dislikes
- Some faculty won't utilized the class time and don't explain the concepts
- Sometimes classes are cancelled due to unnecessary reasons
- Caste feeling is their in some cases like placements and interviews
Course Curriculum Overview
We have the course subjects that are very useful for this current generation technology. If we study the subjects correctly and practice it daily to improve our knowledge we definitely get success in our career but we neglected the subject then we can't able to make any career for further.
Placement Experience
The placements are good in this university. We got the placement offers from the third semester. TCS, wipro, Accenture were visited my university yet. Also others companies will visit in next semester. 20 percent of students are placed in third sem
Fees and Financial Aid
In Andhra University i am doing MCA course I got 316 rank in ICET exam and I got seat under BC-B category in this University in 1st counseling and I got the scholarship eligibility. MCA is 2 years course for each year the government has to deposit rs 37500 in the student account it was deposited in terms wise I have got my 1st term of scholarship amount rs 9375 the remaining has to be deposited. For SC and ST student the central government additional deposits rs 15000. All the amount should be paid to University.
Campus Life
In Andhra university we celebrate enthinic day, department day every year. Games were conducted like football, cricket, volleyball, koko etc and also indoor games like chess also conducted and prizes are distributed with certificates. We also have Ahub and good laboratories with equipment
Hostel Facilities
I am staying in college hostel. The meals are somewhat good and breakfast was nice. Some wardens are good and talk in nice way and some were not. The rooms in hostel have good ventilation with fans and lighting. The registration process of hostel is somewhat simple we have to fill the more documents
Admission
I put andhra university as my first option in my counseling and i got my seat. Also i put some other universities like sri venkateswara university and adikavi nannayya university but didn't get any rejections. I prioritize this university first because it was the top most university in my state andhra pradesh
Faculty
We have more number of faculty some were interacting with students nicely some won't by conducting seminars and presentations I like Prakash sir he conducts student interacting classes to reduce stage fear and build confidence. We have 4 semesters and in each semester we have 5 subjects and 2 labs. If we study we can easily pass the exams
Night Life
We have libraries in the campus it was open till 6.pm in university working days. Andhra university is in Visakhapatnam hence we have so many hangout places with friends like beaches, parks, cafeterias etc. The girls hostels were closed at 7.pm until 7.pm we can go out without permission. The boys hostels were opened any time
