Remarks
Overall for teacher education it is one of the best institute. But if you want to pursue for masters purpose or for any other scope then it will not be effecient for you. It's syllabus is also basically based for teachers only.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is course and curriculum is good one. As it's course is totally focused on producing idle teachers to strengthen the educational need of the country. And it is regularly revising it's curriculum also.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides internship. But it is not paid one. The internship is without any stipend. Only lodging and fooding is arranged by institute. The issue has been raised for paid internship and it is the process.
Placement Experience
Placement is provided by the institute in the private schools at the post of TGT and PGT post teachers. Around 30 schools from different state come to our college for hiring the students for teaching purpose.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in our college. Some important of them are NCERT foundation day, RISM , cultural week, literary competition, Drawing competition , annual sports , annual day and several other education improvement workshop.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. It's not an expensive one. And usually all the student easily get the hostel. And hostel fee is also very less. The overall estimated fee for lodging, fooding and education in college is around 40000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided by the national council of educational research and training (NCERT) on basis of thearks obtained in annual exam. As well as free ship to The student is also provided to the non scholarship student having good marks.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are conducted. Field tours are regularly held. Educational trips are organized. And all India level regional institute students meet is also organized by National council of educational research and training (NCERT)
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure and facilities are very good. Even a new hostel is also being made for the students. And the facility in the hostel is also a good one. And food quality of the hostel is nice one.
Alumni/Alumna
A large group of alumni are there as the institute is quite old. Having good number of alumni. And the alumni are helpful especially the alumni having close attachment toward the college. Few Alumni are also working as faculty member.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is semester wise. It is 4year course constituting of 8 semester. And exams are conducted in months of December and May. The questions are long answer as well as short. 10 short question and 4 long question.
Admission
I have filled the form of Rie CEE exam. And appeared for that entrance exam. And state wise merit list was out. According to 60 percent weightage of Rie CEE marks and 40 Percent weightage of 12 th board marks
Faculty
Faculty members of the college are good. But there is scarcity of permanent faculty members. As they are less in numbers. Usually vacant seats are filled by contractual teachers. But the improvement in number of teacher is required.
