A good college life

• Computer science and engineering is a growing field in today's world and that's the reason for choosing this field • It prepares us for the fast paced growing technology and keeps us intact • Teaching method is good here with technology equipped in each classroom • Exams happen every 2 months with 2 internals and 1 external and we also get time to study something apart from course • Exams are quite easy and anyone can score good with studying before exams

• Many companies provide intership opportunities like BOSCH DELOITTE CAPGEMINI etc • They offer the roles as per their need like development management etc • We can expect a good amount of stipend from intership like 30k

• Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester itself • Companies like TCS, WIPRO , INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, HCL , IBM , AMAZON etc do visit college every year and a good amount of 80 to 90 offers are made per year • Highest package offered here is 13 lpa and the average lpa is around 5 to 6 lpa • Almost every student gets placed here with a good lpa • My plan is to get a good job from here and secondly preparing for higher studies

• Currently the annual fees through COMEDK is 206111 • Along with that we need to pay an additional fees of 30000 at the starting of the session as a skill lab and study material fees. • Tution fees gradually decreases per year onwards • For management the academic fees is 350000 per year • Through KCET the fees per year is around 1 lakh • College also provides scholarship opportunities time to time for weaker and also for girls there are scholarship opportunities • Students with low family income can avail these scholarships opportunities

• Here 3 main events occur every year - SANCHALANA - which is an annual fest conducted every year for atleast 1 week. TECHVIDYA - technical fest conducted every year which includes hackathons and gaming sessions. KANNADA RAJYOUTSAV - cultural event organized every year • Our library has a vast collection of books along with some of the good quality journals We can access those books online also • We do have some clubs such as ROTARACT CLUB - social awareness club, SANGAMA CLUB- cultural club • Freshers induction program do happen every year • Classrooms are attached with projectors and classes are good • SPORTS MEET is held every year which includes football , badminton, Table tennis , basketball, Volleyball • Coding clud run by the students and it is beneficial club and hostel fest also occur every year. • Our college also has NCC where you can enroll yourself.

• We have 3 sharing and 4 sharing rooms with bunker beds and study table and chair • Mess menu is good with variety of items and it changes quarterly as per students demand • Taste of mess food is good • We have to pay 45k per semester for accommodation and food and 85k per year • 5k is caution money • I live in hostel but if you are looking for pg there are many pgs around the college with affordable pricing like SLNS PG etc

• I gave COMEDK exam and got good score and was getting some of the good colleges • I applied for SVCE but switched to this college as I liked the course curriculum of this college and faculty are quite experienced here with good amount of knowledge • I reversed my decision and took admission to this college and I found the faculty of this college good • Admission process is quite simple here, we need to pay the COMEDK fee online after that we have to pay the additional fees of 30k in the college as a skill lab and study material and hostel fee and get yourself registered in the college and that's it you are admitted to the college.

• The faculty to study ratio is quite impressive here with each department having good faculty. They try to build a healthy relationship with students and always ready to help students • Our physics faculty Yogananda Sir is is great faculty. His teaching method is impressive and make topics easier to understand • As such I don't have any issues with any faculty. Every faculty is good in their field and give their best • We have 2 internals in 1 semester and 1 external. We also have 1 lab internal before externals. We can score good by studying well before exams • Almost every student clears the exam with no back • The course curriculum is updated and is industry centric

• Our college has a gym. The timings of the gym are in morning 6 30 am to 8 30 am and in evening 4 pm to 8 pm • Our college has a vast library with large number of books which covers almost all academic needs • We can hangout in canteen and near cafeteria. Canteen closes around 5 pm which cafeteria is open till late night • Beyond 9 30 pm the entry in hostel is not allowed and same goes for campus too • There are many restaurants and cafes nearby college where we can chill and enjoy • We can roam around at night. It's quite safe still late night roaming is not preferable.
