Course Curriculum Overview
The course is bit irritated as there is no use for current trends. However few subjects were only useful just for my career purposes. The only improvement is needed is to give latest subjects and help in improving proper skills.
Placement Experience
The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am an OBC student, got a seat at KSIT through Merit at rank of 70000 in KCET Second Extended Round. Yearly fees was 90060 + 10000 for college additional fees for lab and other things. There were more people who got these fees under this category. There is NSP scholarship where students may get 10-15k amount as scholarship.
Campus Life
Annual fest Ananya were the only ones that makes college life memorable. Usually, fest takes place in Summer time (April and May). Few technical fest also came from other branches. In library, lots of books and journals are present but they are bit old. So, it will be useful but only for short period. Classroom and lab are okayish. Sports happens rarely. Social group like NSS were the only one which impact student to save nature.
Admission
I applied other colleges for Computer Science itself. But during the first 2 rounds, I got ECE, which is my hatest, and also I waited for the final round in order to get better opportunity. Thus, I got this college for Computer Science and Design. The admission process was easy, as it was verification of my marks card & my KCET ranking admission order.
Faculty
Faculties are good. They are interactive with students and very friendly to communicate. They also guide us if any problems occur. Since most faculties are friendly enough, everyone is equal. They were 5-6 subjects per semester and each sem, there will be a final exam that need to be done. The level of exam was easy to average level.
Night Life
No gym, but an okayish canteen and good library is present. Also, I am day scholar so don't know much about hostel. College starts from 8:30, end at 4:30. Very few like Turahalli Forest and few snacks areas are present.
