I have an interest in data science thats why I chose this course. Since we are taught big data analytics etc. required for data science here so I think the course is relevent but I guess the timings of the classes should be increased .

I paid around 6.5 Lakhs for a year incliding hostel and mess. I didnt get any scholarship and there is scholarship for backward categories. The fees is fixed for all and only merit scholarships and sports scholarships are given.

Main cultural event we have is Oneiros which is held in February for 3 days in which popular artists come to perform and the technical fest we have is Genesis. The library is pretty big and nice with various books which are curriculum related. The classrooms are well equiped with all the technologies. There are various sports grounds for various sports in our college. There are alot of clubs here which are cultural,technical, social etc.

The hostel facilities provided here feels like you are living in 3 star hotels except the food provided. The hostel contains 6-8 badninton courts, 4-5 basketball courts , jogger's park, an indoor games room containing table tennis , pool , carrom, chess and Foosball, 2 sqaush courts, a music room and an area where you can dance , a library and common areas to hangout or group study and various food outlets. The food provided in the mess is hygienic but people gets bored eating the same everyday.

I was a jee aspirant. I wanted to get in iit but i wasnt able to clear the entrance exam. I wanted to go to BITS pilani but I did not clear the cut off in bitsat . So this college was the only option left. I applied through direct admission and was admitted according to make 12th boards result.

The faculty is phd qualified but all they care about is completing the course. Mostly ppts are shown which makes it boring. The last batches have the worst faculties though they pay the same fee to male. Female to male is ratio is like 1:3. Mid terms and end terms are there. Mostly 1/5 people fail the exam. The course curriculum is just like basic 1st year course.

We have a very big gym in our hostel which has all the equipments required for everyone but there is extra charged for it, cafeterias are pretty good with good food outlets like nescafe and public area is pretty. We are allowed to roam from 5:30 in the morning to 11:00 pl in hostel premises . The college closes around 10 un the night and we are allowed to go out from 6 innthe morning to 9 at night. Famous hangout spots here are nescafe , old mess, dialogue,chatkara, joggers park , grand stairs etc.
