Remarks

The infrastructure needs to be improved and the non teaching staff should be replaced. The teachers of some subjects are good while some are bad should provide campusing for placements for students and other perks.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This college only has B.Com course hence there is an area of improvement as the name suggests City College of Commerce and Business Administration, a BBA course should also be introduced. Anyways the bachelor of commerce course is aptly conducted.

Internships Opportunities

No, but it conducts seminars where we may join the respective organisation. It is a very illogical to write much in this segment as I have already said no that my college does not provide internships. Then how I am mandated to fill 200 words?

Placement Experience

2

The placements and Job opportunities are quite less as there is no campusing in our college. It is also the problem of our country that only a bachelor degree wouldn't land you up in a high profile job.

College Events

3

Apart from fresher's party , annual sports meet , iftar party on Eid UK Fitr is conducted. The worst part is that our college gets funding From political parties so we all have to participate in blood donation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is very much feasible a lower than average student could afford it. They also provide compensation for the needful and perks such as rail concession and for reserved categories the fees us much lesser

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such thing how am i suppose elaborate this to two hundred words there are many faults in the survey where if the answer is not affirmative then they should not mandate to extend the survey to two hundred words

Campus Life

2.5

There is no such thing how am i suppose elaborate this to two hundred words there are many faults in the survey where if the answer is not affirmative then they should not mandate to extend the survey to two hundred words

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No hotel no college facilities now how am i suppose elaborate this to two hundred words there are many faults in the survey where if the answer is not affirmative then they should not mandate to extend the survey to two hundred words

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful enough but the non teaching staff are not good now I cannot stretch this unethicallyhow am i suppose elaborate this to two hundred words there are many faults in the survey where if the answer is not affirmative then they should not mandate to extend the survey to two hundred words

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite apt. I would say neither too tough neither too easy. Being affiliated to Calcutta University the methodology is still old fashioned. Therefore it should be organised according to the dynamic change in corporate requirements.

Admission

Firstly I filled up the application form online in which I had to enter my pre college academic details then waited for the review. My name came on the second list and got a call for review. Went to the college for review had an little one on one interaction with the Dean of the college and got admitted by paying the requisite fees.

Faculty

3

The faculty is superb our English sir needs a special mention as he the senior most teacher with a lot of experience in our college. But maths and economics teachers are not so good. Thus it needs some improvement.

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.
