A Genuine review

I would just say that college should focus more on what is happening internally in any department and fee should be less according to what service quality is being provided specially in hotel management.

Its very bad i must say.Whatever was being told to us its only 5% true.I am very much dissappointed.Hardly practicals are done that too not seriously.The cost which my father paid for this course is not worth i got in last 4 years.

Yes they do provide internship. But its more for the purpose of being provided the internship and not for the good of student. No matter which brand they are sending students to or what is the stipend they just want everyone to get internship. My experience was very bad as till the last day i couldn't get internship of my choice and at last they send me to a stupid hotel where 0 stipend was there. They don't allow to give as much interviews as a student want to give they just want to wrap it up in the one where the students are cleared.

That is pathetic i would say. I don't know about other departments but in HOTEL MANAGMENT nothing can be worse than this. Students are either getting their placements by themselves or getting placed at a salary of Rs 6000 per month. I mean after spending 5 lakhs on a degree students are earning Rs 72000 p.a

Too many i would say. More events are there than the theoretical knowledge every other day there is something curricular going on in the campus. The biggest events are koshish and athletic meet. But in koshish the pressure put on the students both physically and monetary is shameful.

No not at all feasable. It took 5-6 lakhs to complete a hotel management degree in this college. And after that we are not even getting a job of even 2 lakh per annum. Its very very expensive. Fee along with daily expenses, projects, formals, event expenses, and much more is there.

No , not any kind of scholarship is being given by college atleast to general category. Rest for sc st i don't know but i guess there is some scholarship for those category of people. And loan facilities i don't think there is something of that sought.

Infrastructure of pcte is the best in town. Many students just get admission because of its beautiful campus. Labs , gym, library, classrooms with ac , clean washrooms , big auditorium everything is there. Dispensory is there for emergencies. Canteen and many more outlets for hunger are there too.

I have seen the hostel it is ok i would say. My friend lived there and she said food is pathetic and other things are ok. Fee is nominal and no other kind of issues have been ever faced by her. There are rooms for single person, two and even three so its upto you where you wanna live.

Yes some of them are helpful but only some i would say not all. They help whenever we ask for same. Seniors are like gone once there degree is over so hardly we get to contact any of them. Rest with those whom i am in contact with are very cooperative.

That is good. Proper invigilators are there and security is tight too but still students manage to cheat via mobile phones ,chits and through many other modes. I think this can be improved by taking this thing more seriuosly.

Firstly i was being introduced to the property the practicals and study thing for this course and then i met with dean of hotel management block and he was very good in convincing anyone to join this particular course and that effects us( me and my parents) in same way. At my time,no interview was being conducted the admission was done directly with submission of my original documents.

Faculty i must say is very much qualified and educated. Though some of them are very partial and goes personal in each and every small thing but otherwise 70% faculty is very supportive and are the ones which actually the true faculties of the institute.
