Course Curriculum Overview
We get a lot of opportunities and we get the option of working in whichever court we want, as our internship. I think we have the faculty members with best knowledge which helps us in scoring good and to learn knowledge out of the books.
Internships Opportunities
The companies offered to me were JSW and IBM company. I accepted the offer of JSW company to work as an intern with their corporate lawyer it was a paid internship. I work for three months and had a very good experience with them. The projects I have work on with the company are documents and the contracts of the company.
Placement Experience
From 9th semester we are eligible for campus placements. Kingston has tie up with All the big companies and MNCs in India. The average package is 4.5 Lpa and maximum amount is 7 Lpa. My plan after this degree is that I'll be working in the high court of Calcutta
Fees and Financial Aid
I am paying a fees of rs 3,15,000 and there is also an option for scholarship for the ones who applied for one. Tuition is not needed and we get a free period to ask questions and clear doubts with our respective teachers. The fees of my batchmates are the same . Those who avail the scholarship can get reduction in their fees structure.
Campus Life
Kingstocsication (fest)- february Holi (playing with colours)- march Agomony (durga puja cultural function) - October Freshers(Night party)- december. There are different social clubs run by the students that helps in all the college function and other functionality of the college
Admission
I applied for MAKAUT (BCA) and Bhawanipur (bcom) Both of the applications were selected, but I chose Kingston for its better surrounding and hospitality. The admission process is that we need to reach out to the office building of the college and talk with any admission incharge, you'll be guided accordingly
Faculty
There are a lot of Students and so is the number of faculty members as for every subject there are 2 teachers and so the college never runs out of teachers. The best faculties according to me are Anmol sir, Manoranjan sir, suman sir(principal). The exams are not so easy, they focus more on learning skills than on scoring good marks.
Night Life
We are given a big cafeteria and canteen with a lot of food options. Hostel are available and there are a lot of other hospitality which students can use freely. Our college has a big Lake view area offered for students to spend time working on there laptops. Hangout places near the college and other restaurants.
