The negatives that can be pointed out is the quality of accomodation and food provided. The accomodation is more like quarters of govt residences, but with all the greenery and the vibe the residence becomes a paradise.

The curriculum is balanced and made to make the student competent and ready for the industry. Also at last the college provides campus placements an opportunity for grabs, to get directly placed in firms of repute.

Yes the institute provides internships but to Mtech and PhD students and also conducts various workshops time to time within the college. Also govt. of Chhattisgarh provides stipend to students of various courses and our institute is the channeling factor of it.

As I told there is campus placement for each student present. MNCs like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture and other IT giants visit our college, for core technical branches Ambuja, Ashok Leyland, ACC and other companies recruit from the college. Further for non tech fields top recruiters are Tech Mahindra, ICICI, Muthoot finance and others are there.

Various events are held throughout the year, there is our main tech fest held named OJAS, it's awesome. After that there is Bitcon which the most famous administrative event in Chhattisgarh. Also there are various events throughout on various occasions of the year.

The fee structure is feasible, it has to be paid in numerous installments in different semesters, with all the stipends the fees seems cheap. The fees for different courses is very affordable as per the outputs provided in against.

There is the scholarship facility by the govt approved by the college, also the top rankers get a full fee pardon for the course opted. Also there are appreciation prizes for the toppers in university exams.

All the labs are well equipped and guidance provided is really helpful. Various extracurricular activities are held, there is and intrecollege and intercollege sports event which is conducted on different levels starting from college to university levels.

On the scale of 10 I will rate the hostel facility at 7 as it is not great but livable. Many new facilities been added and almost all the rooms have been renovated for better accomodation facilities, also there is an all time mess facilities for students living in the hostels.

The alumni network is strong and the seniors are really helpful when it comes to study and study materials, also the seniors create a family like environment within the hostels. There is a unity knitted by seniors among the mates.

The syllabus and exam structure are as per the norms of CSVTU, the university from which the college affiliated from. Rather than main exams there are always class test, pre-university exams held to keep the students touch and reach of the course.

I got admission through CGPET, after getting good rank in the exam, I had to fill counselling forms and wait for the calls to come. Once I got a call for admission in BIT durg I went for the admission, submitting the documents required and completing all the formalities.

The faculty of our college is highly respectable. Most of the faculties are PhD holders and many have there PhD's ongoing. Further there is a mix of faculties present of all domains and different streams.
