- I really like the infrastructure of the college. Its a huge university with a historic significance. The campus is covered with trees and all
- All the faculty members are super helpful and supportive. They help us in academics and in personal life problems as well.
- Since it is government college, companies come for oncampus recuritment and we have campus drives as well.where you get to tour the entire college.
Dislikes
- Sometimes the timings of classes are disrupted and some classes get cancelled.
- Lack of events and fests. We do have fests but not on a larger scale.
- Absence of dfferent types of clubs such as literature or dance clubs. So we need to start clubs soon.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good. We usually like it. It helps us in real life problem application. And we understand the concept really well rather than rote learning it. So overall its great and the timings of exams are also good considering the frequency.
Fees and Financial Aid
You have to pay the fees year wise. In some courses there are two batches GIA which is grant in aid, you get in GIA based on merit. The cut off usually goes above 85%. And if u dont get into GIA but still want to study at this college then you get admission into HPP. Teachers, syllabus and classes for both the batches are same. The fees for GIA is 7k for girls and 8k for boys and for HPP it ranges from 50k to 60k for both the genders.
Campus Life
The campus life is great. You get to meet different people from nearly all parts of countries and we dont have ragging so thats a plus point. We all access to one of the top 10 lib in asia which is shri hansa mehta lib. We have a dedicated pavallion for sports where in we have gym, and pool included at a very affordabale rate.
Admission
The admission process is really easy. You basically have to apply online and then if you get selected you have to come for offline document verification and other things. I choose this college because it was affordable and provided really good facilities.
Faculty
The course structure includes both practical and theoritical knowledge. We do have educational trips with our professors. Our professors are highly knowgedable and expert in their field. The exam level is usually easy to moderate. And we have 2exams per sem.
Interview Experience
No we didnt have any written tests or interview rounds its basically based on merits and for some courses we have enterance tests of our university. Details of which they upload on the official website.
Night Life
The nightlife in our college is good. You can have peace roaming inside college with those doms lit up and chirpping of birds. You can experience the sukkon in our campus. Its really nice hanging out with friends.
