Course Curriculum Overview

Civil Engineering course is very good for the people who have intrest in it. This course is very interesting and passionating. Classes are less as compared to other branches . Labs are less and quick.

Internships Opportunities

Interns are not so good as compared to other colleges . As there is heavy competition getting interns is not too easy. And very important to concentrate on that from the very beginning. Interns are decent in this College.

Fees and Financial Aid

For sc and st students there is no tution fee only hostel fee. And fee waivers will also will be there depending on annual income. For general category students it is around 100000 tution fee. And hostel fee is 63000

Campus Life

Fests in iits are very good and students enjoy very much in the college fests. Roads in college are decorated with lights and the buildings are also decorated with colur gul lights which is very good to watch

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are quite good and decent there are newly constructed hostels and there are also old hostels whivh are also good but mess food here is not so good . And there are canteens which will be open till around 3:00 AM

Admission

IIT S are tyre 1 colleges so I preferred iit over the other colleges.... And this iit dhanbad i preferred because it I get this college for my rank for desired branch that is Civil engineering. .....

Faculty

Faculty are very Good and helping and friendly in nature and however some proffs are very strict . There are mid term and end term exams . Lab exams and quizes. Relative grading is done which is very good

Night Life

Night life is very good in all the iits . Friends roam around the campus in night and during fests in night time roads are very busy with people. Since the roads and buildings are decorated with the lights.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
