- The faculty is very nice for some subjects like physiology ,pharmacology,obs Gynae
- The patient interaction and cases you can see like practically is great exposure
- The 1st yr hostel for girls is very nice
Dislikes
- The hostel after 1st year is very packed but I guess new hostels will be made soon
- The workload during HS time is too much so u won’t get much time to study
- The junior senior interaction amongs girls is very less, so unable to build a relationship with any senior which would have been very helpful
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is apt and perfect,they exams are shaped in perfect pace and in our college practical n clinicals are also readily available for an enthusiast so you can get a lot of exposure in our college
Internships Opportunities
We do intership in our own college in the clinical department with the SR,JR and other professors and it is pretty great, internship is one year n we all get paid around 45,000 per month which is even higher than aiims
Placement Experience
We have to do 1year internship in our own college for which we get paid around 45k and then we do post graduation in which ever subject we are interested in by giving more exams like neet pg or inicet for aiims etc etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is around 55k per year including the hostel fee but doesn't include the mess fees . It is 5 year course , so 5 times you have to pay this fee Fees is same for all category students n there are many scholarships for the students of Odisha but as I'm an outsider ,none for me
Campus Life
Our college has one of best fest organising comittee which changes every year with the new minds , and also we have a only girls fest called antaragni which is pretty great and so there is a lot of social life
Hostel Facilities
Hostel for 1yr is very very nice then later years it's normal 2-4seater rooms Meals are good ,we have around 4-5mess n a canteen so many options to choose from, it is very affordable and there are many pg near to even live
Admission
Our college is best in Odisha every one knows, I wouldn't have opted for any other college than scb in Odisha , the patient n beds in our college are huge in number so we get a lot of exposure about how to actually treat a patient than just referring it some other college
Faculty
College has pct some weeks then 3internals n a pre mb then mb exam. For all years Faculty for physiology, obs gyane ,pediatrics, pharma is very great Exams are difficult if you dont study but easy if u study even 2-3hours a day
Night Life
About night life ,then for girls it's not that great , we are not allowed before 10pm to go out but it is for our safety only ,alothough it would have been great if there was a better campus we could roam around even at night
