Course Curriculum Overview
I personally love reading literature, and my interest also include writing, form the aspect of my hobbies and interests it is very relevant for me, at very basic level this let you speak fearlessly in a practical world. Class's basic examination are held frequently but main examination are held twice in a semester of 2hrs. Difficulty level, I'd say medium.
Internships Opportunities
College provides a decent availability of internship within the campus. Phd scholars are trained under there guide for teaching the students, which helps them to be the best teacher in future. It gives them a decent teaching experience also.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement after doing there master's degree while being in PhD program average placement package for this course Is 3.6 LPA. Around 30 to 40 percent student got campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the time of addmission i paid 17.5 k including registration fees and all and in 2nd semester I've paid 8.5 k. I am under reserved category so i paid that much. For unreserved category addmission and registration fees is around 35 k and then in next semesters it will be 17k. Extra ordinary students in studies and economically weaker section students get scholarship named "pandit mahanand dangwal scholarship"
Campus Life
Many festivals are celebrated in the university frequently, national summits, theatre performance, different departmental fests etc. A wide range of books in the library, you can also access it online, a library card is provided to you you can access any book of your choice. Smart boards are provided, speakers are provided in the classroom. For sports cricket, basketball, tennis, table tennis, volleyball and various types of games and courts are provided. Many students run there departmental societal group.
Admission
I've only applied for this University, otherwise I'll be going to a ordinary government college, I've faith in me that I'll be able to join this University. For addmission you have ro fill an addmission form, an computer based or written test will held and if you made it, means you succeed to get in selected list of students as per your marks, you can join Doon University
Faculty
According to me, my all batchmates have a good relationship with our teachers, they understand all our problems and doubts other than studies they are so supportive. I personally like my teacher named ayush sir and apoorva ma'am there method of teaching is just adorable. There are 2 main examination in a semester mid semester exams and final semester exams teacher themselves made the question paper so it's not that much difficult but need a good knowledge about the subject that we gain through study.
Night Life
A very good gym is provided within the hostel, a good, healthy, hygienic cafeteria is available with various drinks and food. College starts from 9.30 (dynamic). Many cafe and restaurant are nearby to the campus. Clean and quiet environment at night. Police chauki is very close to the university so no chance of violence.
