University of Lucknow: 100-year-old university

The BBA curriculm at the university of lucknow is fairly well structured and provides a solid foundation in business administration. however, its effectiveness depends on how you evalute it in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. Why i decided to pursue this course from lu is only because this is only gov. institute that offer BBA in my nearby places. I chose BBA because i want to be enterpreneur and this course prepares me with real world knowledge for the same. Moreover the course should be more practical. In terms of revelance i would like to give 8 out of 10 ten points and 8.5 out of 10 points in terms of comprehensiveness. In my college exams for BBA is organised in two terms one is mid semester and another is end semester.

In fourth semester student have to do internship for practical knowledge. Students are encourage to find internship by their own but obivously faculty also helps us to find best opportunity for internship. As i have completed my internship in make my trip and i found this by my own efforts and knowledge. By the was offered for irctc internship and this was provided with help of my proffessor Dr. Anupma shrivastava.

Placements in my college is not as good but yeah they provide decent placements for management students. students are required to have internship for atleast 45 days for better practical knowledge and get placements in their 4 semester and also have to conduct research program in last semester. Moreover they so many companies like wipro, ITC, infosys visit campus every year for placements. But as i said there is not as good placements offer, the average package is approx 9 lakhs. And almost 70 % student get oncampus placements. I personally don't go to take placement becasue i am planning for masters and research.

The university of lucknow offers BBA program with the following fee sturcture: 1) per semester fee: Rs. 35080 2) One time fees at admission ( Enrollment fess): Rs. 500 Therefore, the total fee payable at the time of adimission is Rs. 35580. For subseqent semesters, only the per semester fee of Rs. 35080 is applicable. The BBA program spans six semester, leading to an approximate total course fee of Rs. 210980. This fee include all the stufs like tuition fee, development fee, lab fee etc.Till now when i am pursusing my course there is no increase in fees. Scholarship opportunies: The university of lucknow provides financial support to deserving students through the Chhatra kalyan scholarship. Financial assistance: Up to Rs. 15000 or the actual semester fees. Apart from this student can apply for up scholarship scheme.

Overall experience in lucknow university is good . As university provide good decent level of campus lfe with good quality of education. In lucknow university we enjoy annual fest of a week named sanskriti surabhi and many other fest and seminars. Classrooms are not modern but we are provided computer labs, seminar hall with projectors and all. Ther are son sports cultural events organised for competition like interhostel. Student of lucknow university run their own social groups like LUCSE & EOS society, adamya ect. that engage student life and amke more ethusiastic and interesting.

Ther is hostel facility in lu for both both boys and girls. Hostel fee is not too high, it could be afford by one easily. Apart from this one can also accommodate in rented rooms outside the campus. Hostel is preffered because we don't need cook food and also tension free after workoholic day. There is pros and cons of both hostel and rented room. But if you want rented room you should have it near old campus as it is well connect by other destination and metro facility.

Basically i would have to pursue BBA from any government colleges in nearby area and lucknow university is the only government university fullfill my recomendations and this is the why i chose BBA from university of lucknow. And fact behind my perference of pursuing BBA is only because i want to build a business and for this reason i need to take knowledge in this field. The adimission process in lucknow university is very simple. we just need fill the application form for entrance exam and take exam. If you passed the exam held by lu admisnistrative you simply have pay the fee to lock your seat. After this they conduct induction program in college and all student have to report in this induction program. And thats all, now you just are admitted.

The university of lucknow's BBA program is supported by a team of experienced faculty members and a well structured curriculum designed to provide comprehensive business education. The BBA program is offered under the faculty of management studies. Course offers specialization in many streams like IB, TOURISM, MS and regular course. There are some notable proffessors like Dr. Vinita kaccher , Dr. Anupama shrivastava, Dr. Amitabh roy. The BBA program is structured over six semeters, encompassing a blend of core and elective courses aimed at providing a solid foundation in business principles. The program emphasizes practical learning through projects, internships, and seminars. Examination system and marking scheme: There is two types of exam per semester i.e. mid semester exam and end semester exam. Exam consist of two main components in written exam of 75 marks and 25 marks for internal. With this odd semesters are discriptive type paper whereas even semester consist of multiple choice question. Student have to make assignments projects, internship report, dessertation and many other practical aspects. to pass a course, a student must secure at least 33% for promotion to next semester.

There is no night life in lucknow university, even hostels and campus gate is been closed by 7 pm. But the place lucknow is known for its night life, the student outside hostel or daily scholer can enjoy the night life. Moreover there is three cafeterias in new campus and more five cafeteria in old campus, there is gym and library also in college campus. As lucknow is good know for its tourist destinations and royalty basically know as nawabo ka sahar, ther are so many destination like chota imambara any other heritage place. with this ther are so many restro any parks to hangout.
