Course Curriculum Overview
The course is structured by National Medical Council and in Maharashtra conducted by MUHS as directed by NMC It includes theory lectures from 1 St year to final year and clinical exposure at hospital posting from 2 nd year to final The internship is compulsory after final year exams
Internships Opportunities
It is a medical College so internship is included in curriculum itself and not for placement purpose Being rural area we have tremendous patient flow providing good clinical exposure If interested can join reserch committee and help residents and doctors for research
Fees and Financial Aid
For general category the fees are1,26,000 per anum For Ews around 60000 per anum For sc/st category 10000 per anum These are tution fees subject to change for new batches You can also apply for scholarship on Mahadbt portal
Campus Life
The annual function is Vinayaka celebrated every year during Ganesh festival, including 5 days function starting from Sthapana pratishthapana din including traditional day , food stalls,bollywood days movie night, DJ night, sport week cultural program for stage activities, Game night and last day of Visarjan Miravanuk or ceremony A separate sports days for 2-3 days held in duration of January to March according to academic calendar. Doctor's day celebrated every year Also birth anniversary of great social and political heroes
Admission
The admission process is centralised by the MHT CET portal . It depends on the Rank in NEET ug examination, your category and preferences. I have opted for all the Government Medical College across the state of Maharashtra But according to criterias I Got selected in Gmc nandurbar
Faculty
The faculties for first 3 years are good but for next batches the problem is the faculities are actually working Doctors at civil hospital so they get less time to interact As it is college activated sience 2020 some department have only 4 faculties as less as compared to faculties in metro city college
Night Life
It's hostel is hospital area and in country side so night life at campus is not so fun. The in time for hostel for girls is around 8-9 P according to your seniority of class starting from 7 pm in 1 St year to 10 pm in final year.For boys hostel no curfew tome But if you are non hostelite you can rome around city roads As mentioned earlier the city is polution free and include many natural site seeings It has Railway station accessible to major cities.It is near Surat
