Likes
- A well structured curriculum, supportive ,faculty ,good placement opportunities, a well maintained infrastructure and a vibrant student life.
- Annual Fest like Ignitia and TechExpo is conducted for the recreational purpose .
- Industrial training and various internship opportunities are given.
Dislikes
- Attendance above 90% is compulsory if less then fine is charged.
- Timing is from 9AM to 5PM which is a huge duration.
- Various restrictions are there but yes they are all in a healthy way.
Course Curriculum Overview
Psit is ranked as one of the good colleges in UP.Moreover about placements it had a good record during my admission time and best reviews were there so I took admission. There are internal and external exams both at PSIT.
Internships Opportunities
OFF campus internship like Microsoft,Autodesk ,amazon and goldman sachs companies are for Students to apply. Moreover, Students can enroll for incubation and entrepreneruship cell for various projects too.
Placement Experience
From 7 th semester palcements are carried on. Many companies like infosys,accenture ,wipro SAP labs do visit college and students do apply for off campus also. College provides tarining opportunities too.
Fees and Financial Aid
PSIT is great renowned college and ranked as best in UP. IT offers many courses. I opted of Btech CSE which costed me 180000 per year that is around 7,20,000 of 4 years (only academic fees). Hostel fees and Bus fee are not included as I have not opted for hostel and Bus. As I applied for UP scholarship so I got 50,000 in each 2nd year and 3 rd year of course. That's all about the Fee Structure.
Campus Life
Fests like Ignitia is conducted in march or april for the recreational purpose and mood refreshment. Also Technical fests like Techexpo are conducted for students to make projects and win cash prizes.
Admission
I applied for delhi university but i had not gone for the same due to expenses as it would cost me for the hostel+food and the travel expenses too. So thats the only reason i didnt went for the other cities college.
Faculty
My course was affiliated with AKTU university which has 100 marks paper along with 50 internal marks. Faculty provide the notes which are suuficient for the exam purpose. I took direct admission in the collge while some took counselling.
Night Life
There are cafeterias like Nescafe,Brio,Cafe 2004 and CHE canteen and a new outlet Samocha is also opened over a few months ago. Hostel timings for boys is 9:00 pm and for girls is 7pm after which noone is allowed to roam around.
