Likes
- The college is located inside the city which is convent for students from the bus stop.
- The teachers here are very friendly,who can ask them any doubts they are ready to clarify it.
- The placements here are increasing year by year which is a good sign.
Dislikes
- Very small campus, insufficient class rooms.
- Less cultural events for fests are conducted.
- There is no space available for us to have lunch in the afternoons,we should have it in the classroom only.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I have choose is Information science and engineering.We are being well prepared accordingly.The mentors here look after the students. There are 3 internals conducted for the vtu as it is autonomous there only 2 internals now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee structure is 125000 which includes both the government fee and the college fee through the kcet entrance exam.It also differs for the SNQ quota,the total fee payable is 51,000.It differs for SC,ST category students.The management seat costs around 6lack for the branch ISE(may differ). College will permit for only one scholarship either SSP or NSP.
Campus Life
The hackathons are conducted very frequently which is a technical event to participate in. There are wide range of books available in the library for the students to study and refer. Some of the classrooms are good but few are just okaish(not too good) The sports events will also take place.
Admission
As we entered this college through kcet,we had to join the same college only.I had applied to the colleges like UVCE,Reva,BMSIT,Sir MVIT,Nitte which were travel friendly for me. The admission process here is simple and the office staff will guide you which is not a big deal for addmissions through kcet. kcet is the most preferred exam.
Faculty
There are many teachers available for one subject,each subject has about 5-6 faculty.Some of the teachers are very student friendly where as some of them aren't. The best faculty I have seen is our DDCO teacher,she is calm,you can approach her anytime she is ready to hear you. Some of the best faculties are Madhu sir for math, Vinod sir for chemistry. The faculty is didn't like was the physics faculty,they were too strict than needed they don't listen anything from the students.The lab faulty were very rude to students.
Night Life
The gym is available in the college which has different timings for both boys and girls. The library is good available for the students. The hostel closing timings for girls is 6 in the evening whereas 9 for boys. Hangout spots are RT nagar for outside campus. Canteen or the cricket ground in the campus. It is absolutely safe at night times as well.
