Likes
- I like the cafeterias in manit campus and the sports complex where we can play the games we want to play.
- I also like the greenery of the campus, its bio diversity is also good.
- I like the fests that is organised time to time.
Dislikes
- I don't like the timing of study hours, as we have to travel a lot , repeating the same path 4 times, travelling around 5 km daily.
- I don't like the ragging environment, as we are restricted to go outside the hostels due to ragging.
- I also don't like the infrastructure as it is needed to be rejuvenate.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well designed. They are designed in such a way that students can relate the topics step by step. They prepare us well for real world applications. I think the teaching should be more practical,I don't like the rote knowledge and paper only.
Internships Opportunities
There are many of our seniors who are offered internships with a good stipend by the top companies like google, nvidia, Goldman Sachs. They have given post of manager and company advisor. They have worked on different types of interesting projects.
Placement Experience
In our college, students are doing internships from 2nd year onwards, ind from third year , they are doing internships and get some stipend.In 4th year they are placed in companies like nvidia, google, amazon. The average placement rate of our college is around 80 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college MANIT, we have to pay fees according to our annual family income. If a student has a family income of more than 5 lakh per annum has to pay tution fees of 62500, for less than 5 lakh but more than 1 lakh has to pay a fees of 20500 and for less than 1 lakh has to pay 0 tuition fee.
Campus Life
There are many annual fests and technical festivals. The fests are Maffick , E summit and cultural fest is tooryanaad. They are held after 2 to 3 three months one after another. We have a large central library where we can get every kind of books related to any subject of engineering.
Hostel Facilities
In our hostel, rooms are 2 seater in 1st year. We have got 2 chairs, 2 beds, 1 almirah, 2 tables. The meal quality is good, but not very good. Hostel fees is 20500 per semester and 27500 per year for mess.
Admission
I have taken admission to this college on the basis of my JEE mains rank . I have secured a rank of 42000 and a percentile of 97.2. I have selected this college because this college has a very good placement percentage as well as it is near to my city.
Faculty
In our college, the faculty to student ratio is nice around 1:55. If I talk about the relationship among students and facuties,it is also nice, the faculties are very supportive in nature, they try to sort out our problems even outside the class through online medium.I like Shiv Charan Gupta sir, one of the senior faculty member from Electrical department.
Night Life
The night life at our campus is one of the best. We have many cafeterias, gyms, parks, where we can hang out with our friends. We have to enter to our hostel max by 10 pm. Hostel is average, food quality is also good.
