About PSG cas

PSG is one of the ragging free campus in colleges situated inside tamilnadu. All the facilities are provided inside the campus itself like canteen, stationery shop, browsing centre and xerox shop. Good parking facility is available and campus also provides free WiFi. There is a library in the campus which is very useful for the students.

It was good. Assignment and paper presentation will be there. Students can also learn extra subjects apart from their subjects which are offered in their particular course for which they will also get extra credit points.

No internship program is offered y PSG in b.com department. But students need to do a month of internship outside during their summer break as a project and submit it to the department in the 5th sem. Viva will be conducted for the same.

The placement opportunities in PSG cas was lot of companies such as IDBI, EY, KPMG, ICICI prudential, etc and conducting placement here. There is a placement cell in PSG which will notify us about the placements conducted in the college.

There is seperate inter college and intra college culturals conducted by aided and unaided departments separately. There is Pongal celebration where the whole college will participate. Hostel day celebration for hostel students alone and food fests which will conducted for 3days. Other than this there is freshers day and farewell celebration which is conducted by each department seperately.

Fees of aided is affordable which is around 5000 to 10000 per year. Unaided fees is from 40000 to 65000 per year. Other than that students need to pay exam fees seperately and if the students wants to do any additional courses they need to pay fees seperately for the course.

Actually I am not sure of any deatils of specific scholarship offered by the college. But there are scholarship offered by colleges. If you want any details you can approach aided or unaided office where you can ask doubts regarding the scholarship offered.

In this college importance is given to sports, drama, music and other extra curricular activities. Clubs have been also there for each activity. So far B.com department has used only computer lab which is well maintained and equipped with computer and centerlised air conditioning is also there for computer labs.

8 out of 10. Sperate hostel is there for boys and girls. Both hostels was good and girls hostel has attached bathroom even hot water is there. Food which is provided in hostel is also good. There will be a watchman in fornt of hostel 24/7. 24 / 7 electricity is also there and cameras are there in fornt of each hostel.

Alumni network in this college is good meetings has been conducted between them regularly. And senior students PSG college are also very helpful you can ask doubts about the curriculum and subjects. They will also help the juniors to clarify their doubts.

External exam is for 75 marks and internal exam if for 25 marks in which 5 marks is alloted for the assignment submitted by the students and the 20 marks is for the written exam. Two internals will be there in a single sem each will be converted into 10marks each. External exam is fully a written exam for 75 marks.

Admission is based on merit list. Admission process will start after 2/3days from the date of submission of the application form. They will call the students who scored high marks first and followed by till the lowest marks till they get their seats filled

The faculties in our department was very helpful the students can approach them anytime they want and clarify their doubts. They are very friendly to their students. Faculties can be approached to ask doubts anything other than their subjects thought by them also.
