What Students Say

Likes

The peers are great. Seniors are very very nice. Infrastructure (except for hostels) are very good. Mess food may not be that tasty but they provide variety of food that ensures you intake good nutritions
There is library in every hostel and also there is a central library which is fully equipped.
Faculty is really great and they are always always ready to help you all you need to do is just ask

Dislikes

In summers it is very hot in delhi but our hostels doesn’t have ACs which makes it unbearable

Course Curriculum Overview

The IITs for sure have the best curriculum in India which is prepares you for the real world challenges that is why people compete for them. The exams are taken very often and its difficulty level is moderate

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is around 3 lacs (including hostel and mess) for general and OBC, tution fee of the college is 2 lacs which is not applicable SC/ST students for a year. Messcharges are around 3500 per semester.

Campus Life

There are many fests going on in college of different clubs but the biggest are Rendevouz our cultural fest and tryst which is technical fest. There are many clubs in the college which elevates your college experience to next level

Admission

The admission process is a bit tough as you have to clear JEE Advance first and cutoffs are very high. IIT Delhi was always my dream college and I am really happy to secure admission here. For mtech you have to wirte GATE exam

Faculty

The faculty here is really helpful and they are easily approachable. Every semester is full of quizzes, assignments, exams due to which sometimes you may not get time to do anything extra that you like

Night Life

The night life of college is amazing and boring depending on person to person. The college has cafeterias, night canteens and many other places to roam inside campus. You can also play some games with your friends at night. The college is next to pubs and restaurants

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The best way to know college

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company.Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

I applied in many colleges like SIT, VIT, BITS Pilani, Different branches of IIT, NITS. I had no thoughts of joing this college specifically. I chose the best one comparing with other colleges. M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges.
