LIFE IN VIT VELLORE

The Circulum works good for me because it has an oveall coveage on all the skill srequired to be a good Software employee and hase a bucket of credits reserved for courses offered outside the collage which gives you the freedom to decide what you wish to learn. The exams will be coonducted on a frequency of 5 weeks.

In VIT vellore Internship opputunities are available like rocks in sand. atleast 5 oppurtunities are given through mail daily from the collage on various roles like developing managing etc The big internship oppurtunities are made available to students from 6ht semester and it is mandatory in circulum to do an Internship or Project which is worth of 15 credits. If not placements VIT also provided various facilities for students to go to foreign for their future development

The placments in our collage starts from 6 semeste itself VIT provides a large number of oppurtunities for studnets to choose like giving internships and also in the year 2024 around 837 companies visited my collage for campus placement and and the highest package offered in the year 2024 was 1Cr per anum. The percentage of studnets getting placed will also be very high .

I am from category 2 in 2024. I will be paying around 3 lakh per year incuding tution fees development fees ,lab fees, for the four years along with 187000 for my hostel wich is a 4 bed AC type. The hostel registration fees is 15K and the caution deposit is 15K. The collage fees would vary acording to your category which can be opted basined upon the course and VITEEE rank. 1st category 2 lakh 2nd category 3 lakh 3rd category 4 lakh 4th category 4.5 lakh 5th category 5 lakh Hostel fees will vary from a range 1.4 lakh to 2.4 lakh depending upon room size(2,3,4,6,8) and room type (non AC, AC normal,AC deluxe)

The collage life in VIT will be very intresting and also there are so many clubs and chapters in VIT the clubs and chapters are so talented that recently renowated Bihar airport ticket booking software was developed by a estimeed club in VIT. There are two big events in collage which are GRAVITAS and RIVERA which are technical and cultural events respectively. Students from IIT Bombay also comes here and competes our students in the gravitas hackathons organised by VIT

Hostels are very good in VIT Food is decent and the MENU is designed such that it is convinient for people across the county to eat a good meal. Hostels can be selected based upon the hostel ranking given considering the CGPA of the student. Hostels are clean and there are 3 types NON AC AC normal and AC Deluxe accomidation ranges from 2 bed to 8 bed in all 3 types of rooms.

The reason for me to choose the collage is that it has a vast culture , nice circulum , and a freedom which is enough for a Btech Student is given in this collage. Students are allowed to interact with each other and the co education system here makes it lot better for students who are going to be the future of our country to understand and respect ones opinon and problems.

Faculty and their teaching is good. The exams and marking system is generally both absolute ans relative grading. The grade system works as follows. There will be 2 CAT exams conducted and 1 FAT exam which can be considered as unit and final exams. The CAT's will be conducted for 50 marks and have a weightage of 30% which is 15 weightage marks The FAT's will be conducted for 100 marks and have a weightage of 40% which is 40 weightage mark There will be internals which can be projects or assignments or quizes which constitute of 30 weightage marks. Exams are easy if you study on a regular basis and grades will be alloted by relative grading .

Night life is not so intresting in VIT Students should report in their hostels by 9 pm where the time can be extened by taking a special permission if there is any work for the student in the campus . Night Library is available in VIT where students are allowed to study upto 1 30 in the midnight irrespective of your Gender. Atendence will be taken by Biometric by the Warden and if student is not on a leave and their attendence is not recorded the will be punished by fines or suspension based on the situatuion
