Remarks

Being an amitian is just a different feeling. They are providing the best education to their students. This University's infrastructure is unlike other colleges. Amazing University is for the students who really want to study and learn new things.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is very much better than other universities. This course work is also very helpful to people who wants to sit for masters entrance exams. Throughout the course we are teached one foreign language as well. That helps many students who wants to go abroad. This opportunity is not in many colleges.

Internships Opportunities

I have no idea. Though, There is in house training for students who wants to persue research in future. Lab facilities are really good. Even though there is no stipend given for it but students get to learn ALOT.

Placement Experience

4.5

Every year many companies come for placement, hence, job opportunities are definitely there. But like any other University the placement depends on the student. Good students always get placed. Overall its satisfactory.

College Events

5

Every festival like Diwali, Holi, onam, etc are celebrated. Specially for students who are living away from their homes in University hostels. There are events happening every other day in college. Specially during fest time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible if we look at the infrastructure and all the facilities that are provided to us. For some courses it is a little expensive. But for basic courses like BBA, Bsc i think the fee Structure is very much feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students above 90% in 12th get 50% scholarship and above 95% gets 100% scholarship. There are many other scholarships offered by college to brilliant students. Students representing university at international level (like in sports) also gets scholarship.

Campus Life

5

They are amazing! Labs has mostly all the facilities. There are different societies of each department in the University like music , dance, art, literature societies (groups). Students learn team work when they become a part of such groups.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I am not a hostel students. But my friends living in hostel are satisfied. Though, the hostel fee is a bit high and it also doesn't include food. Hence, many students dont find it worth it. But overall students living in hostels get a good and safe environment.

Alumni/Alumna

Amity maintains a really good alumni network. They always welcome their old students. Senior students treat Juniors really good. There is no ragging done. Our campus is 100% ragging free. I am still in contact with my two seniors who still help and motivate me and are there for me whenever i need them.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is satisfactory. Sometimes it becomes really hectic because we have to study and give exams of 9-12 subjects per semester while other universities students study only 4-5 subjects per semester. But overall it's fine.

Admission

We were asked to send our CV along with the application form. There were 2 rounds in the selection procedure. In the first one there is a multiple choice exam which includes English, current affairs and general knowledge. And second is the interview.

Faculty

5

All the teachers including PhD students, lab attendents are very helpful and humble. They are always ready to help us with our doubts. They always motivate us to be a good person and do good work in life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
