As the New Education Policy (NEP) has been issued in MNNIT, the course curriculum is very up to date and helps the student grow in all possible ways. They teach you all the topics that you'll be dealing with in the real world after joining a company.

A lot of companies come for internships during the 3rd year. I don't think I'll be able to share the details of stipends etc but I can say that the students that are selected are very well paid. You need to know DSA in deep and have 2-3 projects ready

From the 3rd year companies start coming and you'll be eligible for internships. And in the final year you'll be having the placement season. All the big tech companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook etc come to the college. The highest package is usually given by oracle around 60- 80 LPA. 90%+ students get placed from every batch and the remaining are either trying for masters in another country or for government exams in India.

The semester wise fees that I pay is 62,500 rupees. Yearly it adds up to 1,25,000. Upon admission the hostel and mess fee have to be paid via an online portal where any UPI app can also be used. Hostel feels is actually 30,000 per semester but they do take a little extra approx. 32-33k. Mess fees are always constant ie 25,000. For other quotas, there are some relaxation in fees in mess, hostel or tuition. For example NRI students pay $4000 per semester which adds up to around 8 lakh rupees per year. The mess and hostel fees for them is same. There are a ton of financial aid options available. For students belonging the the state of Uttar Pradesh. Even for students who belongs from the gulf.

The cultural fest is called CULRAV and the technical fest is called AVISHKAR. They're usually held in the months of February/March. There are a lot of clubs to join in this like face (of different states), oration, dramatics etc. The library is filled with books and you can find any book regarding your academics there. The classrooms are well built and centralised ACs are also being installed now. There are projectors for Profs to use. The Athletic ground, basketball court and tennis courts are very nice.

They provide you with a fan, beds, cupboard, tables and chairs. If you want a cooler you have to buy one. The mess food is decent and well planned. The registration of hostel is done online and it is not that costly. There are not a lot of pgs around here

I had applied to College of Engineering Pune(COEP) a very famous college in Maharashtra but didn't take it as the placements in MNNIT were far better. Same with NIT kurukshetra, even though I cleared their cutoff I chose not to join that college. I didn't get rejected per se but I wanted to go to IIITA or IIITH but wasn't able to clear the cutoffs.

The faculty to student ratio is about 1:30 and the faculties are very cooperative and easy to approach. They always help out whether it's related to academics or something else. In the computer science department all the professors are very nice and easy to talk to. They are always ready to help whatever may be the issue. There is so no faculty which is bad. There are 2 exams per semester ie, midsems and endsems. The midsems are 20(if there is lab) or 25 marks(if there is no lab) and the endsems are 40 or 50 marks.

There is not much to do in the campus at night but for seniors there is a canteen which stays open till 3am. Also there is no intime for boys in 2nd years and above so they can go and come whenever they like. There is literally nothing to do outside the college after around 12am.
