Anurag University Honest review

Curriculum is modern and need to improve in few aspects . Mechanical students were having C language subject and it also continues even for next semester. I don't really think C language should be taught to student more than the basics . Because C language not the subject where all were intrested to learn . They can teach for those who actually wanted to learn it. There is a programme called JOY of ENGINEERING where we are merged with some random class students and given a task . We need to complete it and make a documentary video . This program could help few students to build their team work and team coordination and many skills. I think the teaching methods were fine in this college. The exam frequency and timing were really short for the difficult exams. But they don't care those all .

College offers internship opportunities from Google , tcs , wipro and many more companies, stipend is around 15000 to 30000 per month. Mechanical students students have made an automobile car which can run with the solar energy and it was a successful prototype

After 3rd year students are eligible to stand for the campus placements. Infosys , wipro , TCS , google , microsoft And many companies have visited more than 50% students were placed among the eligible students . Highest package is around 33 lpa . My plans after getting the degree is just to prepare for any government job.

The yearly fee i paid during my first year is 135000/- for tution + 22500 for admission + 5000 for jntu fee that makes a total of 163500/- , and if you opt for a hostel , the hostel fee for every year is 10000/- If you come through the TS EAMCET counselling there will be a scholarship provided by the TS government depends upon caste and reservation for OBC students a scholarship of 30000 is given and for the SC,ST students only 3000/- they need to pay no scholarships for OC students , and also no scholarships for the management students , the mentioned above fee structure is for mechanical department students There is a complete different fee structure for students depending upon their branches For reference the fee for a CSE department student is 300000/- per annum and also other eminities added along with it. And college individually itself doesn't provide any type of scholarships for any students , neither on merit or financial conditions .

Campus Life is really good , but fests are very limited compared to other colleges . Synergy and freshers were the only official fests take place here. Library provides every type of book but with a lot of restrictions. There is a projector for every class but it is used very limited. For every Saturday the whole day dedicated to sports and extracurricular activities only for 1st year students. No student can run their own club or student portals , there will be definitely some faculty hand at back of them. And sometimes they might skip classes just for the club.

I have visited Marri laxman reddy institute of technology (MLRIT) before joining anurag University. And I have seen that the college is not as big as expected. And there is no way to skip any class. The gates were closed so that the students cannot exit their building block during class times. And no phones are allowed in the corridor. The system and culture of the college is very over restricted to the students . So I thought to visit anurag University and made a good decision by joining it.

Faculty ratio is 1:66 and faculty relationships with students really varies and it depends based on the faculty. We have a cool and calm faculty , he is supportive and responds to any type of problem we have. But this not exactly same with other class students , one of the friend is suffering from his strict faculty in his class . He had made many restrictions regarding their own classroom, so faculty student relationship will be varying from class to class . Babu rao sir and the srinivas sir were the most well natured sir's of our class they are good in interacting with students and solves their issues. One of the BEEE lab faculty and also he is my bus incharge, i don't know his name bus he is very annoying ,each and every student from our bus hates him . He doesn't let us open windows and makes us to sit where he wants us to sit . Doesn't let us talk in the bus and many more . For every semester there are 4 main exams mid 1, mid 2 , externals , and semester end exams Semester exams and externals were little hectic but we can easily handle mid term exams with a one night preparation.

There are many gym and cafeterias outside the college , many students stay in PG hostels so there are many things to chill with the friends and a lake is situated opposite to college which is damn beautiful for walking around it at night Campus timings are from 7am to 6pm No famous hangout places to visit inside the campus , students must go out of the college for it . There is bhuvanagiri fort and Yadagirigutta to visit but they are a bit far from campus.
