I'm absolutely satisfied with the teaching methods and well-equipped labs

The mode of transportation and monthly expenses is very less and feasible. The faculties are very helpful and the labs are well equipped with equipments. The food in canteen is of good quality. faculties are well experienced and teaching methods are unique.

The course curriculum consists of all th covered topics that help students to gain knowledge both theoretically and practically. The faculties are able to make students properly understand the topics and and makes their concepts clear. Faculties complete the semester course in given time and also take a regular test on the chapters studied in the class in order to prepare students for examination.

Yes, my College does provide internship. Around 40-50% of the students got internships from the college. There was actually no fixed stipend for internships as most of the internships were for learning and training purpose. However, some students got a stipend of about Rs. 1,500 for 3 months and regular attendance was required for internships. There is a dedicated placement cell in our college called T&P cell and also an entrepreneur development cell which are active throughout the year.

A national event like Prakarsh is conducted in the college every year. Along with that, other activities like an annual day celebration, sports week, intra-college events like Aavishkar and Vision, cultural programs, social welfare programs, etc., are also organised.

The fee structure is quite feasible. The semester fees is around 35,000 to 38,000. The yearly fee structure is around 72,000 to 75,000. The students who scored a high merit ranking, for them the fee structure is less, also the students who fall under SC/ST category, there fees is also reduced. Also the fees of poor family students is also very less.

Scholarship and aid for poor students. Students under SC/ST are given special scholarship and their fees is also very less. Loan facility is provided by ICICI Bank which is affiliated with SVIT college.

Extracurricular activities such as village visits, industrial visits, social activities, tree plantation, etc. Here labs are well-equipped with all the equipment. The latest equipment is not available, but they are efficient and sufficient for students. There is also spare equipment to replace any faulty or broken equipment. There are more than 40 computers in each department, and they are well equipped with LAN and internet connectivity. Sports is an essential part of our college. Different sports like cricket, badminton, football, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, carrom, hockey, etc., competitions are conducted at state and national levels.

SVIT was established in 1997. Although the infrastructure is old, timely maintenance is done throughout the year. Now, there are different buildings for each department of engineering, architecture and MCA. Classrooms are well-equipped with fans, benches, and tube lights, but A/C facilities are not available. Labs are well-equipped with all the equipment. The latest equipment is not available, but they are efficient and sufficient for students. There is also spare equipment to replace any faulty or broken equipment. There are more than 40 computers in each department, and they are well equipped with LAN and internet connectivity. The library is one of the most important parts of the college, and it is well maintained and supervised. Its atmosphere is good for students to study, and it has almost all the latest magazines, newspaper, study materials and knowledge books. Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus, but we have to register for it via our laptop Mac address. Sports are an essential part of our college.

Seniors and passed out students are really helpful to us. They help us to build our confidence and also inspires us to take initiatives in different events, cultural and social events. They help us in our study related material and guides us in all the possible ways.

There are two semesters per year and eight semesters in four years of the B.E. course. The syllabus is covered before GTU examinations and viva. Gtu exams are of 70 marks while rest of the 30 marks are to be scored by internal college. 30 marks include internal exam marks, submission marks and seminar presentation marks.

The Admission procedure took place via ACPC(Admission Committee for Professional Courses). ACPC provides a booklet and an online data of all the colleges in Gujarat. Here the cut off marks based on the merit list is provide. The merit list is published by combining science theory marks and JEE marks. Students are able to know that for which colleges they can apply and for which course according to their merit ranking. There is different merit ranking criteria for General, OBC and Sc/St category and also there are reserved seats for OBC and Sc/St category. I was able to get admission in E.C. field of Engineering via online procedure. We can also get admission via ACPC through offline procedure and there are also different rounds conducted for students to whether opt for the same college or apply for another college.

Teachers/Faculties in our college are well educated and have a very good experience in teaching. They are qualified and have very good knowledge. Teachers are really helpful and have a good understanding with students. They are very friendly and strict as well with students. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:22 in every class.
