Course Curriculum Overview

5

Actually my father is a construction builder in our hometown and very popular. Also i was also dedicated to continue his work so i had decided to take civil egineering only. I want to make new design of house which people have never seen and i want to make my name in the world of construction. The teaching method in our college is very well and according to my side there is no need of improvement in it. The exams are much difficult at iit delhi. The final exams are much difficult then as compared to quizes and mid sem exam

Internships Opportunities

5

Actually i am a first year student so i have no idea that which roles are offered under internships under stipend. Also i have no idea about the projects which are being provided by the companies to studengs at our college

Placement Experience

5

Generally 4th year students gets placement but if you are good enough then you will get a pre placement offer in 3rd year itself. Very big companies visit our college like google ,microsoft ,nestle ,zomato ,tata, reliance etc. In civil the highest package is around 2 crore. Around 90% students gets a job and the remaing 10%are those who do a startup or persue higher studies. As i mentioned i will continue my father business

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees for the 1 semester is around 114000. The tution fees is 100000 for 1 semester and the other charges are 8600 for the hostel rent and the rest are exam charges. Labs are totally free of cost. The fees is not dependent on the category but is according to the parental income. As my parental income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh so i have to pay 37000 for 1 semester. The students who have their parentel income less than 1 lakh have to pay 0 fees. Various scholarships are provided to the students of 1st year by aluminis of IIT Delhi.

Campus Life

5

We have the rdv fest in the month of september which is a cultural fest is biggest in north India. People from different college and cities visit our rdv fest and it is for 5 days. There are total 10lakh boks in our college library and we easily get books which we want to study. Also we have tryst the tech fest in the month of march. The classrooms are much pretty and i wonder that i am seating in a foreign college. The sports facalities are also 10/10. We have every sport ground in our college. We have various clubs runned by the seniors of our own college. There are music , dance, lits, drama etc many clubs in our college

Hostel Facilities

5

We are provided with a personal cupboard and with beds and study table and book shelves in the wall and also space for keeping shoes. The mess food in our hostel is average. Average beacuse sometimes i dont eat at hostel and i prefer to eat outside. But on somedays of the week the food is really good. After i got admission in college i got a mail that in which it was written that i have been provided this hostel. And the registration was done right on the first day of the college. The locality is good and can rent a room as its safe around the college

Admission

I had applied at IIT Bombay for civil engineering but my rank was not that much that i could have got admission there. Yeah as i mentioned i have got a rejection from IIT Bombay as my rank was not that much to get there. We have first qualify jee mains and then get a good rank in jee advance exam. Then after this we have to register at josaa site and fill our choices of college and according to our rank we will be provided a seat at iit.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:300 for some subject and 1:150 for some subjects. But we have 1:30 ratio for a TA provided by the college who solves our personal doubts. I liked the agnihotri sir in physics department as he such a nice person and he teaches nice. He is a strict teacher but he teaches us very well. I liked all the faculties and all were very good at teaching of their subjects. There are total 4 exams at IIT Delhi through out a semester, namely quiz 1,quiz 2,mid sem exam and final exam. And all there own weightag as decided by the faculties

Interview Experience

5

No there was no interview at the time of admission in college. The admission process was simple, i had registered at josaa site and we have to fill the choices of college at josaa site and priority wise which college we were able to get in that was provided at that time.

Night Life

5

Every hostel in our college has its own gym and it is open for 24*7 in our college. Also the library opens from 6am to next day morning 3am. During exam times the library is also open for 24*7. We are free to go around campus anytime and there are no restrictions on it. Also the campus in or out time is 24*7. In our college we have biotech lawn where we can sit and chill for sometime with our freinds. We have the sac lawn for extra ciricular activities. Also we have the gs ray where go for snacks at evening .

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
