College review

Hostel food is not very good. So I will encourage students to take a PG nearby in Shakti nagar area and few hostels are also there outside the college, as many are available at affordable rent. I would not encourage any kind of misbehave with the college staff especially the guards as they are extra strict for the ID card.

The course curriculum is updated yearly according to the instructions and guidance by the university. All the subjects included in the course provides in depth knowledge about the subject. Best books are used in teaching and the students can go through numerous authors' books which are available in library.

It is compulsory for every student to undertake an internship in the final year of the course which is of 60 hours. Though the student has to search for the intership by himself, but the faculty helps in case the student is facing some difficulty.

The placements are quite good with the highest package being around 6-7 lacs and average being 3.5-4 lacs. The job roles are fulfilling and the companies which come for recruitment are known. The place of work can be within the city or in any other city.

The session of the college starts from July and the first event celebrated is Green day in the month of September where everyone wears green clothes. The next event is sports day which is celebrated in October. Then traditional day is celebrated in march. In between whole year various events are conducted by different departments which includes debates, quizzes, cricket matches, elocution and others.

The fee structure of the college is feasible with fees for courses ranging from 15,000 to 27,000 per semester. Few courses have fees on the higher side, like my course had fees of 24,000 in odd semesters and slightly less in even semesters.

Scholarship's are available in the college. The information regarding the same can be obtained on the college website or by enquiring in the office. I have not availed any scholarship by the college so I am not aware of it.

The college organizes extracurricular activities throughout the year which includes trekking, adventure camps, trips, sports day, traditional day, annual day, green day and many more. The overall experience of all such activities is thrilling and full of fun.

The Indra of the entire college is well designed. There are 2 buildings known as Commerce Block and Management Block. The library is in the separate building. The hostel is at the back of the management block and is surrounded by greenery. The college has a swimming pool in management block.

The college has strong alumni network, with students placed in companies like Zomato, Bajaj finserv, Icici bank, Genpact and other. The seniors are very helpful and create a atmosphere where everyone can interact freely and without hesitation.

The college has now shifted to annual exam pattern from 2017. The half yearly exams are conducted in November-december and annual exams are conducted in April-May. In between class tests or CCEs(continuous comprehensive assessments) tests are conducted which includes class tests, projects, file submission. The exams are of 100 marks each with 30 marks of cce included.

Firstly, one has to fill the application form which costs around 500rs to 1000rs(at my time it was 500rs). Then merit list is displayed on the college website according to the course you have chosen and students are then called for interview. The interview process takes place in the college itself on the date mentioned in the merit list and the student has to go with the necessary documents and 2 photocoies of each. The list of documents needed is provided by the college. The results of the interview is declared within a week either on website or by message from the college.

Tbe faculty is experienced in respective departments and most of the teachers are either Phd or pursuing Phd. The college organizes guest lectures from time to time where industry experts guide the students regarding the subject. The teachers have experience ranging from 8 to 15 years.
