Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is obviously relevant making an account of the fact that it is related to medical field where everything that is taught to us prepares us for the real life applications. The exams are conducted roughly in every 3 months.

Internships Opportunities

5

For the intership, ever student is given a remarkable experience in the intership life, interns get to learn a lot in it, they are posted to work in the hospital of our college nearby areas and this experience helps them to learn a lot about the medical line and life in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees for Reserved category students is 33 thousand and for Non-reserved students it is 42 thousand. For Reserved category students, admission fees is 2 thousand, Caution fees is 10 thousand, Tution fees is 9 thousand, Development fees is 2 thousand, Hostel fees is 3600, Electricity fees is 2400 and Others fees is 4 thousand. For Non-reserved students, Admission fees is 2 thousand, Caution fees is 10 thousand, Tution fees is 18 fees, Development fees is 2 thousand, Hostel fees is 3600, Electricity fees is 2400, and Others fees is 4 thousand. In other words, the difference between the fees is the difference of 9 thousand in tution fees. Along with these, every student has to pay 1 thousand for miscellaneous charges and 4 thousand for hostel welfare fees. The scholarship is provided to every student who got admission through State quota and get paid a good amount of money. General category students get 26 thousand yearly and other category students get 17 thousand yearly. This scholarship amount increases yearly

Campus Life

4

For the annual festivals, two events are held yearly, one is sports fest named as IRIS and other is cultural event named as VISION, IRIS is usually held in the month of December and VISION is held in the month of April. The library provided all sorts of books required by the students for every subject including both books written by Indian authors and western authors.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rooms are provided for every single student, beds and study tables and chairs are provided by the college to ever student and cupboard are in-built present in all hostel rooms, for every hostel wing 3 washrooms are provided and maintained by the workers in here. For the hostel mess, I am personally not a fan of hostel foods but if one wants, they are really affordable giving three meals per day at 3 thousand rupees per month.

Admission

I got admission through counselling process conducted by government management authorities and though that I got admission letters from colleges like Durg medical College, Government medical College Muzaffarpur, and Saifai medical college. In the end I picked up this college because of the connectivity of this city to various other cities so I can travel if I want and can learn from experience and also because it connects to my hometown so going back home and meeting family is easy from here. Also the affordability of this college with quality experience made is even more favourable for me to go for this college. Though I directly didn't get a rejection from any college, I did not get admission in other colleges I applied for because of the higher cut off in them. Admission process is though the government bodies of mcc and upneet counselling, for this, one should clear the NEET entrance exam which is conducted by NTA, once cleared and scoring enough, one gets admission letter from this college and can join it, the cutoff for this college in General category is 672

Faculty

5

As I have said earlier, all the faculty members in here are really experienced and helpful, we can ask them for any sort of queries at approachable times and can get answers which are easily understandable. Though I have not interacted with all the faculty members personally as I am in 1st year only, but with those I have met are really educated and kind people and also really great in the field of teaching. Per year, 4 exams are conducted in here, 1 terminals, 1 pre-proffs and the final proffs. All the exams have a great level of questions and specially the clinical ones for the understanding of clinical cases and do check the quality of students.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is quite fun in here, they are enjoyed inside the hostel during weekdays and outside on weekends as the timing of hostel is to get back by 7pm on weekdays and by 9pm on weekends so one can go outside for having a fun dinners amor by staying inside making food by ourselves and singing and dancing with friends in hostel

The curriculum prepares us for the real time management of the patient illness. If we talk about the difficulty of the curriculum, so yes it is difficult but just it needs consistency and nothing. It prepares us for dealing with the real world by understanding the patients.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
