- One of the best thing is we have Srinivas temple inside our college campuses so we fell very positive environment,and also college provides soft skills training and skill lab facilities to improve our knowledge.
Dislikes
- Our college is good but not the best in some fields like Infrastructure,in particular,falls short of expectations.
- In Canteen the food quality is ok ok but the prices are exorbitantly high and teast also not good
- In our college there no night functions and all , They won't give permission for that .
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Computer Science as my branch because personal I had interested in it during my PUC .So I choose Computer Science in by B.tech ,and also computer Science is one of the beach which always have high scope. This course includes a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge.It include so many coding languages like C,C++,JAVA , PYTHON,OPERTING SYSTEM ,UNIX ,R-PROGRAMING ext. Actually this course is improved a lot but we can improve automation and other technical events. The frequency and timing of exam is sufficient for 50 marks paper they will give 2 hours and also difficulty level is midium.
Fees and Financial Aid
The B.Tech course in SIT typically a four year of code, divided into 8 semester .In the First year I had paid 1,10,000 and after for the rest 3 year will be 1,05,000. And also we are paying extra amount for registration fees and the exam fees , Registration fees per year 19,500 and the exam fees per sem will be 3,500. So complete fees structure for 4 year will be approximately 6,00,000.From my knowledge for SC and ST feed will be less as we compare to us ,there will be reduction for the due to there caste. My friend name is Suraksha she also doing here engineering in SIT manglore only ,So the fees structure of mine and here will be same because we both are came from management sit. In the first year I had received ssp scholarship after that I didn't received any other scholarship, because I had came from management sit .
Campus Life
Good life at srinivas college ,but need improve a lot of things and more activities should be conducted and events should held in the college no worth of giving without the event. They need to focus more on the night events comparing to the other colleges we are backward
Admission
My cet result was not that good so I didn't apply for most famous colleges like RV ,MS Ramaya and all.I had gave some colleges name in there I got sit in benglore colleges like east-west college but my parents are not allow me to go benglore alone they were very tensed so I was choosed college from manglore,I thought SIT is good college in manglore also nearest so I choose this college over other colleges.
Faculty
Our college faculties are good and very supportive.We have good and very experienced faculties.They are highly knowledgeable and always ready to assist us towards success. My favourite faculty is Arvind Sir, because he is soft and super supportive.His teaching is very understanding and he is interactive too. Actually I don't like one of my faculty but I don't want to mention their name . Because she is very irritating and she didn't even listen to students and she also didn't even value for our feelings
Night Life
There are many hangout places near the college,but they are not highly secured places to rome around and the places which we have to travel is not near our staycation , near the college there is gym facility
