Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum by the university is very well defined and all the learning at any campus of my university-S.R.M. University makes the student Industry-ready. The internal exams are conducted periodically and university examinations too are strictly conducted.
Fees and Financial Aid
The usual course's tuiton fee for B.Tech. when I took admission was Rs.221000 in first year, then it was Rs.200000 for every academic year for further 3 years. As I was Day-boarding Scholar, i.e. not hosteller, so, the transportation charges were Rs. 50000-Rs.60000 per academic year
Campus Life
Fests celebration are numerous at S.R.M. Aarush-a Techno Management fest is very beneficial. Milan cultural fest, Rubaroo, etc. such cultural fests are also organised every year, within each Academic Year. Various student social groups such as NSS, GeeksForGeeks, C.S.I., etc. such groups which are are beneficial for students are encouraged. A wide range of books, of all streams, disciplines, magazines, journals, everything is mostly and easily made available at the Library of S.R.M. Some of the classrooms, lecture halls have the facility of projector-set-up; a few of Faculties use for their teaching. For mass digital-way of teaching, students are taken to Labs.
Admission
Though I came in the list declared by the State Govt. Colleges and got college eligibility from S.A.T.I.(E.C.E.), yet, I & my parents chose S.R.M. due to the availability of the top-branch amongst Engineering branches. The admission to S.R.M. is through JEE score or through the entrance exam SRMJEE, conducted every year.
Faculty
The faculties are very nice enough & put many efforts, they are easily-approachable also, so that nearly all subjects are very much understandable. The student should be regularly class-attentive, class/lecture concerned & also, self-wise & matured, then, any examination of SRM-be it Internal C.T.s or External-University exams, is easy to cope up with.
Night Life
I hadn't been hosteller, so, don't know much about campus's utility areas. Being Day-Scholar, I could explore on my own, lil bit the areas which aren't in Hostel Premises. The campus usual day starts from 9/9:20 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.
