Extremely positive remarks , fee misses in terms of food , hostel ,etc. But if you can adapt easily REC is a ocean to dive in and explore there s a lot to learn and experience at REC, have a open mind.

I followed Anna university 2013 curivullam which is fair and good , this college is a affiliate to Anna university. Now I hope the regulation have changed and the curriculum have been changed to regulation 2017 , which is more rigorous and qualitative.REC offers you additional certificate courses to look good in job market , I was personally certified with VMware, Big data (R language ) certifications

Yes, it does indirectly. College encourages Symposiam participation. Few symposiam offer internship when you win the rounds , my friend got internship opportunity in Bangalore when he attended one such event at Anna University CEG Campus

decent placement , College has already signed MOU with few corporates, has a very good training cell.REC Recently signed an MOU with TCS for conducting a particular programme with TCS. Placement cell especially concentrates on tier 1 and tier 2 companies , which is very good to start your career

Standard event like Republic day, Indpendene day ( college has a NSS and is trying to get NCC caedt too by trying to activily take initiatives) Sysposiam ( Each department had its own symposiam which will happen mostly in the month of feb -march ) Club events ( each club is free to organise event at their own will by not distributing the normal academic shedulr)

I paid 90k / year for an academic year which is non inclisuve of transport fee , now the transport fee I think is 30k / year. But REC have upgraded their buses to AC buses. Hence it shoudl propbaly come around 1.3 or 1.4/ anum but this s management quota fee , merit fee would be 40% to 50% less than this figure

I don't know about specific scholarship programme REC has, I haven't heard any of it in my life at REC. But loan facility is a stranded procedure that any bank will offer. REC being a top college is applicable for non collateral education loan

as mentioned earlier , college management encouraged lots of clubs in college , rotract club is active here , enactus is active , college has an active ethics and development club. NSS cader is there in college. I think lab facility at REC is decent in CSE department. But over the years they have developed lab facility so much , particular to BIO MEDICAL course. College is most sorted college for this course

I was personally a day scholar, but I stayed in hostal for 7 days for a camp, it was decent , but not so great , just decent if you have lived a modest life you will not complain. But if you have been a pampered kid , you need some time to adapt

Yes , very nice alumini network I would say, having started in 90s college has been there for almost 25 years , few VP in big corporate Houses are actually from REC , my relative who is at high managerial position at Infosys is from REC too

Being an affiliate to Anna university , exam pattern and structure is pretty much to what Anna university prescribes. But college is an autonomous institution under Anna University hence college will have some free will to operate compared to other college under Anna Univrsity

My admission was through management quota , I felt a little short of making into the merit list of the college , which is prepared by the cut of you get in your 12th board exam, average cut of ti get into rec was 190+ at that time when I joined

Very good, open up your brains. Makes you ready for job market. College also encourages so many clubs I was a president of Tamil literature club in REC, which is very rare to find in an engineering college
