In all, the University is really great with everything (be it infrastucture or be it placements. There should be more activities held in the Hill University for its students, just like the Deeemed University.

There should be more space for co-curricular activities and personality development of students coming from remote backgrounds. Apart from presentations, activities like group discussions, debates, extempores, etc should also be promoted (much more).

Yes, they did in the previous year(2018) and also provided them with a stipend. But this year we didn't receive any such message so we suppose that they aren't taking students from the hill anymore. They gave us the news of internships in Times Of India, and some other organisations as well.

They provide really good placements. It is one of the reasons why I joined the university in the first place. Companies like MahindraTech, People, PCITS, etc. provide great job oppotunities. Campus Placements take place between October-December.

Hill (Dehradun) - feasible fee structure The citizens of Uttarakhand receive a discount on the fee on the basis of their domicile) Deemed - quite expensive Here the syudents from or from outside of Dehradun are admitted.

The scholarship structure was introduced after an year of our admission i.e., 2018. The scholarship ia offered on the basis of S.G.P.A and varies for different levels of S.G.P.A. There are various discounta given during the time of admission such as girl child discount, discount to the minorities, etc.

There are IT Labs on each floor. An annual sports event is organised each year. Extracurricular activities are promoted a lot. Competitions like debates, dance, singing, rangoli, business quiz, modelling, onkine games, etc.

Since I'm a native so I don't know much about it. But the hostel follows great discipline and there are seperate hostels for international students. The University organises DJ nights, celebration and dinners on various occassions such as Lohri, Holi, Founder's day, etc.

Each year an alumni meet is organised. Some of them have re-joined the institution as professors or assistant professors.Most of the seniors are doing great jobs in their concerned fields. They have helped in maintaining a sense of familiarity.

The question papers are formulated in the Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun and Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal. One question paper is selected for both the universities and its various departments. Marking is really rewarding even for the smallest effort of the students/s. In all it is quite easier to score in our department (not sure about the technical courses).

First, we went for enquiry of the courses provided by the university (wanted to pusue Economics Honours back then). Then after registering my name for B.B.A, I went with my parents to visit the campus when they submitted the fee for the 1st semester.

It's great. Some teachers have a very strong hold on their subjects and have really dynamic and adaptable teaching skills, helping the students to gain a thorough understanding of the subject. Some are still improving.
