I choose this course i.e department of Accountancy because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the online experience also practically . The course prepares well for studies as the academic results is always good which will make graduates well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and internships should be provided to the students. The exam clustering of multiple exams should be within times which releases unnecessary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Iam pursuing my graduation from lanka Mahavidyalaya in accountancy as a major subject with an minimum fees of yearly 9000(approx) including the semesters fees in every semester for the exams also it includes various fees which all includes in the college admission fees. The college also provides various education freely to poor student's belonging to APL as compare to BPL where they change money. It includes various excursion on every semester moreover the admission is done regarding the merit list which comes out on the basis of caste and percentage in your last exam which you have performed. There are various scholarships available by college as a example their are scholarships like ishanuday and many more scholarship which they provide regarding good marks in the semester exams..

The college hosts several programs every year firstly from the starting month of January to February i.e college week which is for ten days which includes cultural rally sports and cultural program too and in the month of August and September there's n fresher's program for the upcoming juniors which includes departmental program and other parties in the college campus too . The college library has a minimum of 30000 to 50000 text books in it . Library also provides free wifi to the students as our college has been upgrading it's infrastructure for the digitally setup in the classroom. Facilities for the Major games such as cricket, football, badminton etc are available which is accessible to all the students.

I had applied in 5 to 6 colleges and fortunately I had got my name in this College I choose this college because one of my family member has already taken admission in this college also my friends also suggested to take admission in this college as the college had accredited as grade 'B' and our college also comes under guwahati university our former department head has also declared as a fellow of accountancy in the reflection of every known person. I had got rejection in some colleges for the percentage I had in my 12th exam . The admission process of Lanka Mahavidyalaya ia based on merit. The minimum eligibility is every student passed 12 within a minimum percentage of 50 are or can be a part of this prestigious college.

The Head of the department(HoD) Dr. Molay Das, the educators specialized in various sub-disciplines of Accountancy subject ensuring a better learning experience for the students. I like Dr. Narayan Sharma sir because he teaches us very friendly and give help financially to the students who can't afford his fees. There is no teacher that I don't like about we are very grateful for the teachers in our department. The exam conducted per semester i.e after every six months in which sessional exam is conducted as a unit test which carries 20 marks and the final exam is for 80 marks where 20 marks is taken from sessional exam..

The night life around college has a very good vibe one can freely enjoy the night with no queries in the college campus or nearby the college . College doesn't provides any gyms . Library of the college remains open till 4 pm . Timing for hostel for girls is early at 7 am to till 6 pm before the the student must entry the gate of the hostel the food service is very good in the hostel and it has a very good Hangout places nearby the college which helps the students in enjoying their meal.
