review about my college

The course is designed by the University of Kanpur, i.e, CSJMU. Hence, the studies that are carried on in the college are praiseworthy. The syllabus gets covered within the estimated time of 5 months. As, I am pursuing BBA, so there are 6 semesters which make up a complete 3 years' course. Accordingly, the lectures are conducted.

No, I haven't come across any such information that my college provides internship opportunities. And, if it does, then I've no clue about it. Even though I am a regular student, still in these 2 years nothing has been told about it.

I must say that the job opportunities for Undergraduate courses are not that good as compared to the other colleges of the same level. But, the placements and the packages for Post Graduate courses are worth applying for.

There are several events held. 1. The academic year starts in July and the very 1st event is called Fresher's Party. 2. Then comes the most awaited time of the year. The grand college fest. This is named- SRIJAN. Here, the students and the teachers of all the branches of my college come together and the fest is held. The teams are divided on the basis of different courses. There are literal, as well as cultural activities held. Finally, a winning team is announced. All the 6 teams compete against each other. 3. The birthdays of the faculty members are celebrated. 4. Felicitation ceremony is conducted for the meritorious students. 5. Fete is conducted in the winters. It proves to be of great fun. 6.Sports meet is held. It is called ENERGY. Likewise Srijan, here also the same 6 teams compete in various sports events and the overall championship is given, along with the individual winners. 7. The last event is the FAREWELL party of the 3rd year and the final year students.

The fee structure is quite feasible. There's also a discrimination in the fees demanded. The structure of fees is categorized into 3 sections. The 1st one comprises the amount for those students who've secured 80-90 and above % in their 12th. The fees for them is the minimum. And, it goes on increasing at the rate of 10% as the percentage of the student decreases. The maximum is for those who have secured between 50-60%.

Yes, they do provide scholarships. The students who are needy and not in a stable financial position to pay the fees, for them this scholarship is provided. They should have a required percentage and then a form has to be filled, followed by the other formalities.

There are n number of extra curricular activities that are held. There are 2 libraries in my college campus. There's a sports room as well. They are extremely good. But, there are no extra books available in library, as in any novels. Only the books relating to subjects are there and also various magazines and newspapers for reading.

There are no hostel facilities in my college. The students who don't belong to the same city have to arrange for themselves a PG for staying. They stay as a paying guest. I would like to suggest the administration of my college to avail this facility sooner or later.

The alumni network isn't tha strong. Only few students remain in touch with the premises. Yes, the senior students are amazing. They are of a great help, be it in academics or any extra curricular activity.

Exams are held every 6 months. The question paper is set up by the Kanpur University. For my course, i.e, BBA, the exam for each subject is of 70 marks. Rest of the 30 marks are provided internally by the respective faculty members of each subject. These 30 marks constitute the overall performance of the student in class and the behavior.

1.There isn't any entrance exam required for getting admitted here. 2.There are limited seats for each course that is offered. 3.Admission is based on the basis of first come, first serve. 4.Also, the required percentage in 10+2 should be minimum 50%. 5.To get your seat locked, an amount of 4,000 needs to be deposited in the office.

In my opinion, the faculty of my college is quite good. As in, expect for few of the lecturers, the rest are excellent. The ones which are not that good are unable to complete the syllabus on time and, also are at times not able to convey the information regarding few topics related to their subjects to the students. There are some teachers who are prudent enough in all the management subjects, regardless of the fact that whether they might be teaching it or no.
