- No coding culture in the college and the teachers dont promote it
- A lot of fighting in the past few years , which makes it toxic
- The hostels are very small and shabby compared to other hostels
Course Curriculum Overview
BTech CSE with data science specialisation is a pretty trendy college curriculum and the improvements that can be made to this is that there should be more rigorous labs to test the students and also it ll help them to understand the concepts better.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities that we get here are pretty average, but the college sends lots of emails about internships and summer internships that are both online and remote, so if you pay attention to those, you can get a internship very easily
Placement Experience
The placements are average But all the students here focus on off campus placements because the in campus placements are very average. Like you'll get a placement of ?6 lakhs or seven lakhs, depending on your CV.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Btech fees is pretty average and after the 35% scholarship its pretty good(you get 35% with like >90% in boards and >85 percentile in JEE). The fees without it is 272500 including the hostel charges for that semester
Campus Life
The overall experience here in Bennett University is pretty great as the social life is very good and the clubs and societies are also very active. There is a lot of support for student and start-ups, and the faculty gives a lot of importance to sports.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very poor, but you get a laundry service which is good enough and there is access to both hot and cold water throughout the day. The air conditioning is also available during summer. The rooms are very small for triple sharing
Admission
I had applied to JAYPEE NOIDA and i got selected there in ECE but i wanted to come to Bennet University instead because of its social life and also because it has the Times of India tag with it, it gives the college an edge in calling companies for placements.
Faculty
The faculty is easily available to solve any doubts, and the ratio is also pretty acceptable, but the main issue comes when you have doubts that are genuine, but the faculty members don't pay enough attention to it. Gupta sir is good at solving problems.
Interview Experience
No GD or interview questions during the admission rounds, They just asked us to submit our JEE/Board exam scores and before that there was just a introductory round with your counsellor. The admission round is very smooth and not at all tough
Night Life
There are 2 gyms and many cafeterias in the campus and the hostel timings are that you should return to your hostel before 10 PM at night. You should leave the premises before 7pm because you ll be denied access after that
