The curriculum is good. It starts with basics and in the first year and takes us into our core topic from second year. They teach all the advanced topics also. We have labs for real time experiences. We can learn extra courses through college in coursera. Exams are pretty difficult compared to other colleges. Getting good gpa is hard. But the good part is they give projects and hands on experience. Teaching methods can be improved by making better ppts and better teaching.

I have heard from sineours that the opportunities are quite less as compared to the main campus because in banglore it is recently established it takes time for placement rate to increase. But for now there is a normal average package from good companies like microsoft and amazon. I am not sure of the projects and outcomes as i am still in the 1st year

Many top companies like microsoft, ibm,intel,amazon etc have took people from our college. We get on campus placements. We do projects from second year and are allowed to take internships. Mostly from 3rd year many people get interships. My branch has an approx avg package of 10 lacks. The heighest is i guess 36 lacks but ece has a heigher package than cse. 90 percent of the students get placed. After i complete degree . Ill prolly be placed somewhere . If not i will do masters

The course fees in manipal for my course computer science and engineering is 5 lacks per annum. It is constan fir All the four years. But before the course fee there are application feeses like entrance exam fee was 1500 approx for each attempt. There were two attempts in total . Then 10000 deposit should be done for councelling and taking admission based on your met rank. The scholorships are only for below 250 ranked people.

Infrastructure is really nice . The hostel facilities are too good and worth the fee paid . There are clubs for every skill you want to prove your talent in. The clubs provide lot of opportunities and you eill be able to socialize and make new friends and fill ur schedule. Itll kerp you busy on weekends.

Hostels have nice rooms everyday cleanings, laundary for 36 washes in particular timings in a day. There are 2 food messes in the campus we can choose 1 every month of our choice . They serve chicken on every alternate days . And biryani on every sunday. The taste changes in both the messes. The is lot of rush all the time. Quality of the food is good . Nearby by me pgs are there in Yelahanka. We have heaters showers and deep cleaning every week. Kettles for each floor and ac provided. There is common area . Registration process was through the main website.

I have scored 94 percentile in my jee so i waited for second attempt and wanted govt colleges. I dint think mych of private colleges. After my jee second attempt results i have applied for counclling and was sure i wouldn't get the course i want in any of the top colleges. So i started writing entrance exams for met vit srm snu geetam dsu comedk emcet lpu and many more. Later after great research and suggestions from my siblings i decided to join in blr . I hve got scholarships in jain lpu satyabama dsu and few ap colleges through their entrances and jee results. The fee was decreased a lot i thought of joining jain but then my met councling of 1st round was over and i got cse ai . So i thought mit blr would be better for me than the main campus . Though the fee was high i convinced my parents and took admission. The eligibility of entrance exam was 12th pass and the give you met rank by seeing your 12 score and met score.

There are many faculties and there is also a mentor for every 10 students. Few teachers take very good care of you they make you understand things clearly. My maths faculty was prasanna poojary , i feel in btech such tracher is very necessary becz he takes care of first and last bench students. He is my favourite faculty here. There are also few teachers with great knowledge but do not care much about who is understanding and who is not. There are 2 cycles physics and chemistry there are enough teachers for each subject.the exams conducted per sem are quiz midsem and endsem . Quiz is of 10 Marks mcqs midsem is for 30 narks each and end sem for 50 and other 10 marks are for assignments and projects .

I had a written entrance exam called met manipal entrance test. It questions were of maths physics chemistry and english all mcqs the level was little less than jee. Councling is based on your met rank

We have this grounds which has a track where we all walk and chill after dinner everyday. To sid nd talk we have hb3 hostel with tables and chairs surrounded with food marts where u can order have food. We have stationary, parlour, campus mart, juice softies and other food. This is the place where all of us hangout more. Every place you'll find chairs to sit. The curfew timings of campus is 9:30 at night till 6 in the morning. The hostel cufew is 11 to 6. The attendance is marked everyday in the hostel through biometric between 10 to 11: 30. If u miss your attendance you will get fine of 300
