The College I Study In

Laboratories are not very well. Microbiology laboratory is spacious but needs air conditioners. There needs to be ample of equipments for everyone or atleast one for every two students. Botany lab needs to be worked upon. Teachers need to remember that not everyone understands Gujarati. Teachers are required to be more friendly and not judging quickly.

My course curriculum included subjects like microbiology, botany, zoology, language through literature and one inter-disciplinary subject which is environmental studies in the first year, biodiversity and nutrition and dietetics in second year. The subject zoology comes with an option with chemistry from which any one from them can be chosen. This subject remains only in first year. The second year curriculum excludes this subject. The third year curriculum excludes both the zoology and botany subjects. So only microbiology, language through literature and inter-disciplinary subjects are studied.

No, my college doesn't provide any internship. If they do, they might be providing it to graduates and have not told us yet. So there's none that i know of. And if they provide internship i don't expect it to be very good.

Very intermediate. But they claim they could get us into good companies with a fair package. They tell us a lot many companies and other food industries are required of the students of this college as we have more experience in practical laboratories.

There are couple of days celebrated in the month of February every year. A week or two is spent. Independence day, republic day, annual day, fresher's party, farewell, etc are the events celebrated in our college.

Feasible. Very affordable and alright if seen the college infrastructure and provisions. There are a total of 6 semesters in B.Sc. The first semester of year one has a fee of about 14,000?. And the latter 5 semesters have a fee of 13700?. It may vary a little bit but the value won't exceed much with time.

There are none. Not any that i know of. But if talked to principal he might consider to pay the fee in terms to make it a comfortable paying. There are no scholarships given to anyone. I don't know anything about loan facility in my college.

Not very enjoyable. There are many things to be mended. The labs need a lot of work and new equipments. The number of students are twice thrice the number of equipments in the laboratory. I've experienced it every time in the laboratory. They lack microscopes which is why we waste a lot of our time.

The hostel is pretty well. The food is not very much that you'll like because it's Gujarati cuisine (sweet). The rooms are okay. Not big. The security is good. I don't know much because i attend college and go back home. Ive visited hostel once, eaten there and seen the rooms.

Seniors are very friendly and helpful. They are always ready to help. The seniors are amiable and guiding. I have personally recieved help at all times i have asked for. Notes, books, advice during competitions etc are their major group for support.

The exam structure is semester type. There are a total of 4 external exams I've taken yet. Semester 1 and 2 are in First year and the latter two are in second year. The semesters 1 and 3 are in MCQ structure and semesters 2 and 4 are in writing structures. The papers are of 50marks brought from VNSGU.

I brought form of the college by paying a considerable amount of 350?. Along was the prospectus of the college. I chose my field of interest and checked the eligibility criteria. I filled the form, pasted required documents like photocopies of my 12th marksheet, leaving certificate and aadhar card. Later some days after i went to my college's office and submitted my form. After a couple of weeks, they put up the chart according to our scored marks. There are a total of 5 charts which are put up according to marks in descending order. The number can vary. My name was in the first list in the chart so i was told to visit the office and make the payment of college fees which is around 14-15k. I paid my fees and attended the college from the month of June.

The faculty is not very good. There needs to be good lecturers who are experienced and are good in any field they teach. They ate required of having extra time for us students who do not catch things quite quick so that we can ask them later and understand more nicely in the spare time.
