From the Notebook of a CA

The various departments of Gujarat University offer undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), diploma, certificate and PhD courses to students in streams such as Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law and Medicine & Health Sciences. According to the Gujarat University NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during Gujarat University placements 2024 for PG 2-year stood at INR 8.75 LPA. The top recruiters of Gujarat University Gandhinagar include Maruti Suzuki, Gruh Finance, TCS, Pantaloons, Times of India, Amul etc.

The grant aid college with barely 2500 Rs fees per semester for the course framed in 6 semester taking 15000 Rs to become a graduate from the well known college in ahmedabad affiliated with the Gujarat University requiring higher merit to get admission. Tuition fees were Rs 600 per semester, Registration fees were nominal charged by Gujarat University of Rs. 500. Other recurring fees were for Library, Examination, Gymkhana, Sports , Cultural etc. summed up as Rs. 1000

The college had very small campus apparently but with the huge play ground behind after the entrance promoting extra curriculum activities for the fitnessful life of the students. The infrastrucure overall was an average and the low fees were justifying the same.

The colege required very high percentages in 12th standard which i had secured. To get in the group of sharp minds and creative thought process one would always choose the same. Hence it was obvious for me to choose such college for the better network and learnings.

Faculty to student ratio for the English medium (Morning Shift) was very low but the time was well managed by the college for students. There was no dislike about the faculties as they were very polite and knowledgeable. There are Internal exams and soft skill & foundational skills exams.

There is a library in college for the students who wants to study, also there were equipments for fitness. Outside college the IIM road can be selected for the hang outs at walking distance which gives good vibes around.
